DO NOT EAT HERE If it’s the beginning of lunch the chicken was old and left over from the night before the meatloaf looked and tasted like a mystery meat the okra was old hard and cold the banana punishments or pudding taste like banana alcohol or syrup

If I could rate the food and atmosphere at less than zero, I would. This was the poorest food I’ve ever had at this restaurant, and I basically ended up eating a few bites of salad, a roll, some green beans and a little bit of corn. Definitely NOT a good value for my dollar. The fast food I stopped for on my way home was vastly superior. Our waitress was top-notch, as they all appeared to be, but even she couldn’t save this abysmal experience. I will not be back to this Golden Corral, and I doubt I’ll ever visit the chain again.

Love Golden Corral first of all. This was a rare and unfortunate visit whereas the food was not at its best. Was a little after 4. Was hoping new fresh food would come out. My husband had better luck. His shrimp came out new after first time out. For me the chicken was too old out there. All stuck to the skin and no legs. So went to Chinese options, the rice was stuck on the pan and all options sparse and discolored, been there awhile and at the end of its use should have been refreshed. So I stayed with salad bar, awesome, and went for vegetables. The okra very good and so was broccoli, cauliflower, mashed potatoes okay. The dressing was great to see. Wish could have found more fish dishes, but that is just me. Was okay. The really redeeming point was our server and the always great staff!

In the winter they have no heat, instead they have several little heaters sitting around the floor and say they have to keep them on low or throw breakers.. they started clean up an hour and fifteen minutes early and no fresh food was added. It was horrible.

Had Mother’s Day lunch today. It was awesome. Food was great and plentiful. Staff was nice and attentive to my tables needs. I’m wheelchair bound and they accommodated me perfectly. The place was busy but I never felt rushed. Great experience. Thank you to my waitresses and all the staff.

Recommend it. Very courteous waitress, food was very fresh. We went on a Saturday afternoon. I wish places would have more coconut dessert options (selfish opinion). If you are a health nut and like to judge people because you are absolutely perfect in every way then this is the place for you!! Sit in the back and watch the rest of us pig out, you won’t be disappointed. (Yes, there was a judgement Kathy there Saturday and it was awesome).

I love it here. Reminds me of my dad who passed on. He, and we ate here often. The waitresses are so nice and friendly. I love the fish!! But I must say, no hushpuppys last 2 times. My dad always had meatloaf and cabbage, so I’ve carried on that tradition too lol. But no meatloaf, just a small broken last piece. Never to see any replaced. Maybe if I go again it’ll be there
