First time visit, I like the idea of buffet, but sometimes too much loses its flavor. The weekend price is a little high, if you want to try it out you might want to visit during the week. Service was great though

When I arrived at the table that was available, I had to wipe it because it was really sticky and dirty. I carry wipes with me so I used one of my wet wipes. As I was finishing wiping it, the waitress came up to get our drink order. She asked how we were doing and I replied better now that the table was clean. She kinda snapped back with the excuse that she had just got there for her shift, and she could have. She returned with our drinks and as my husband was putting his straw in his tea he noticed that a fly was sitting on top in his glass. The fly was not moving like it just fell in the liquid it looked dead and dried out…like it had been dead awhile. In my opinion I think the waitress put it in the tea because of what I said about the table…but I can’t prove that. I really don’t think it was a coincidence because that fly looked like it had been dead a good while. I wished that Golden corral would put the drink machine out to be self serve like everything else is.

The dirty carpet smell when we went in almost made us walk out. It cost $16 for dinner and $4 for tea plus tax and tip. There was a few flies lighting on the food and we swatted them away from our food. They do not offer the good chocolate fudge anymore. The deserts did not look fresh. Not a big selection of interesting vegetables. Just plain canned and heated up. They used to have good pizza but I didn’t see any. The flies loved the salad bar area so I passed. Before we are went to bathroom to wash hands and towel machine was broken. But there are napkins on the table so I used that. The plates and silverware were nice and clean. The tea was good and sweet. The fried fish and shrimp was good. It was not worth what we paid being two small women. My friend only ate some fruit and watermelon. And drank water. I tried to get her to eat some food since she paid for it. The smell of the carpet was awful. They need to close for a little remodel and paint and put in new flooring to get rid of the fish and dust smell in the carpet. Fix bathroom paper towel holder. We won’t go back until I know they fixed the food and cleaned up the place. We spent $42 for a buffet dinner. It’s not worth it for small women.

Great place to bring kids in order to get a balanced meal! My kids love fruit and vegetables. The waitress was wonderful! The manager checked on us after we were done. Great meal as usual. It’s our go to place when our and about in Dothan.

Came here on a Sunday for dinner. Most of the food was cold. The rolls were very dense and overcooked. The dessert bar was sloppy and messed over. The cotton candy cake was not baked thoroughly. However, the shrimp were hot and fresh and the salad bar was clean and stocked. The manager at the time was Kristian and she worked to make sure I had a better experience. Overall, I would not recommend.

I come to Golden Corral often, food is good, but the atmosphere is NOT clean. No restaurant should have carpet…..the carpet stank sooo bad from food juices spilled on it,made me sick to my stomach, its not being properly sanitized,an smell like it have not been clean by a professional since last year when they reopened. I had stop going for along time, due to them not deep cleaning their carpet,that is disgusting to know… my suggestions is to remove all carpet. Unsanitary if it’s not being shampoo every two weeks.

Busy and somewhat noisy, however it is a buffet restaurant and it was a Sunday afternoon. Cashier was polite and friendly, and our waitress as well. Fried fish, salad bar, vegetablea were all good. Hush puppies need improvement. Spouse said steak was not tender, and the server only wanted to give him a tiny piece, but it was most likely to stretch servings of the product. Peach cobbler too runny and not enough crust, but tasted fine. Good place to eat pretty much whatever you want. The new decor with the two-sided fireplace is very nice!

I ordered pickup for their yeast rolls but arrived on time, waited at register for 3-5 minutes while staff are walking around conversing with each other. Finally, hostess says she “just” sent my order back even though pickup time had already passed. I waited another 10+ minutes and received cool somewhat hard rolls. They were supposed to be a tasty surprise for the family. Instead we used them for batting practice. Although not delicious they did bring some jokes, chuckles and some good old family fun which is never a bad thing. Turned lemons into lemonade…

The fish and sirloin steaks were delicious. The spinach salad was just as wonderful for dinner. I also ate breakfast but was limited on choices because I don’t eat pork. I enjoyed the visit with family and friends while attending a Dixie youth baseball all-start tournament
