I always like GC, I just wish they wouldn’t put hamburgers on the buns. Some of us don’t eat bread, and it sticks to the cheeseburger, making it a bit difficult to add other things to it.

When I took my mother there everything looked really good but looks was better than taste The chicken tastes like fish just was not up to the standards that it used to be I used to love golden corral now it’ll be another year before I go back. The display of food look very nice. The service was pretty good. My daughter told me that she went and got cotton candy as they was leaving for the kids but they had to ask for it since they no longer display the cotton candy machine. That would have been a nice treat to have since the meals taste wasn’t so appealing they did have chicken livers which was a nice change and they were okay had better tasting livers out of a convenience store.golden corral it’s still better than a burger joint like McDonald’s

Not bad, the price was good. However, their commercials state that they have shrimp & steak on the diner buffet but not true. They did have “steak” that looked like a thick piece of roast beef. The hubby said it tasted good, but…the look was not appealing at all. As for the butterfly shrimp, it was nowhere to be found.

Food was a bit too old. Slow in coming out. Veggies overdone. Total renovation needed. Not a good example of a Golden Corral. Salad and bread pudding was fresh and tasty!

It’s your average buffet style restaurant. Our server was nice. She kept the drinks filled and the tables cleaned. The food was okay, nothing super special. The steak and bourbon chicken was very salty. So, proceed with caution with those. They do close earlier than most places. So, check the times before going. The plus side, if you have small children under 4, they eat free.

I was so happy to go here. So many of the Golden Corral restaurants have closed. The restaurant was very clean and the service was good. The food was as I remembered and expected. There were plenty of choices and I appreciate the selection of vegetables. I also appreciate it doesn’t cost a month’s salary to feed your family.

I was babysitting my granddaughter for the weekend & didn’t feel like cooking. I don’t live in Tavares and she chose Golden Corral. The food was so good especially the pot roast!!! I can understand why my granddaughter loves going there. I was pleasantly surprised!!!
