Great place for moderately priced comfort food! Buffet/all you can eat style dining. Clean, friendly staff. Food is fresh and always hot. Lots of different options…including salad, veg,mac n cheese, prime rib, fish and chicken just to name a few! Wasn’t impressed with the dessert area. Although, the chocolate fondue waterfall with fresh strawberries looked very good!

Nine of my family members were together in Beaufort, S. C. Six days ago. All nine agreed that the buffet was very tasty; it is a great place to get your veggies; a wide variety of
meats for protein; and quite a display of delicious sweets. We enjoyed it very much. Our 9 month old grandson had his first taste of ice cream, marshmallows, Rice Krispy.Treats, and meatloaf. He always enjoys his broccoli, mash potatoes, and other veggies. Tripp’s aunt Heather and uncle Robby raved about the vegetables which helped to make our decision to visit Golden Coral.

I actually can say everything was good, and hot. Our server was friendly, and was on top of his game with topping off our drinks and asking if we needed anything. They had a good variety of food choices and deserts as well. It was quiet and very clean. The staff members were friendly and accommodating. I have no complaints….

Very clean restaurant, items were hot and were replenish constantly. The manager walked around talking to customer’s asking if the food was good or hot or not. Your waitress was sure to make you feel welcome. Would have given a 5 but because it was a weekend of Marine graduates there was not enough parking. Fast service and good food.

The quality of this place has definitely changed over the years. The prices are way too high now. Very expensive for a family of 4+. The food is still great, hasn’t changed much of what they offered from when I was a child. The dessert bar definitely has a different twist to it though. I went for a baby shower, our waiter popped up one or twice to clear plates but we had to keep calling him to refill drinks, and that was towards the end. Miss when they use to give complementary rolls..now you have to fight the crowd for them.

Stopped here with the whole family (20) following my son’s Marine boot camp graduation. They couldnt have been nicer. They took care of us and gave us the private room. The service was fantastic and the food was perfect for all the variety of tastes and preferences. Of course my son ate like there would never be another meal and loved it.

The selection of choices for entrees was not as diverse as my last visit. Everything was pretty bland. My favorite is the pot roast and it had no flavor and about 3 red potatoes in the whole pan? Mashed potatoes were dry on top and watery on the bottom. The other pan near the fish and meatloaf was jus hard and old. By far my worst visit so far, which really surprised me because usually it’s pretty fresh with a whole lot more choices. For the $30 plus tip I could of had steak and lobster at Outbacks! I’ll be back because my daughter loves it. Just hope it’s better stocked with more choices. Oh yeah no tacos on taco Tuesday? Staff was friendly but the cook (grill) was having a phone conversation while serving customers? Sorry to be so negative but it really was a disappointing visit for the price!
