Haven’t been here in over a year, but they did not disappoint at all. I had a hunger for food and didn’t know what I really wanted to eat. Upon entering I was greeted with warm hospitality and great customer service. Thomas, the host, was a true leader in customer service. The price is reasonable given it’s all you steak, fish, shrimp, and more for under $25. Thank you guys for some good food and service. Happy New Year to Everyone.

Family and I went here for Thanksgiving dinner… we were so glad this place is open. As a vegetarian, it’s one of the best and easiest places to find food. It was impressive how well they were staffed and organized. Everyone working was polite and friendly. I highly recommend this location.

My boyfriend Ángel and I try to come to this Golden Corral every Sunday morning, and it has truly become the highlight of our weekend. While the food is always what you’d expect, it’s the people who keep us coming back.
Julie is an absolute star. Every single time I walk through the doors, she is the first person I look for. She is incredibly welcoming and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy.
We also want to give a huge shout-out to Marisol. Both she and Julie are attentive, kind, and make sure we are completely taken care of from start to finish. It’s rare to find service this consistently excellent, especially during a busy Sunday morning rush.
If you’re stopping by, definitely look for these two! They make you feel right at home.

Cece was my server and truly made the experience wonderful. Whatever she’s getting paid honestly deserves to be doubled, she was attentive, kind, and made us feel welcomed.

Unfortunately, the food did not match the level of service. It was lukewarm when it arrived, and by the time I received all of my items and sat down, it was completely cold. I came for breakfast and paid $16.42 (including a drink), which felt overpriced considering the quality and temperature of the food.

I also had an unpleasant interaction with the young lady at the register, Norma. She came across as rude, and my friend noticed she was on her phone having a personal call at the register. I usually don’t mind what staff do as long as they provide kind and professional customer service, but that was lacking during this visit.

That said, Cece absolutely saved the experience. She did an amazing job and deserves recognition.

The problem with this Golden Corral is that it’s inconsistent. Some days the food is good, and other days it’s a total waste of money. You really have to guess when the best day to go is. On the bad days, you have to pick through burned pieces of food that are still cold to the touch. The price isn’t worth it at $16 when the food is either burned or cold. I’ve gone both in the afternoon and in the morning, and it’s the same issue either way.
When the food is actually good, you still have to deal with workers who clearly don’t want you there, like Norma. She was rude when we first walked in, and I found it interesting that she didn’t speak or ask us anything about our service needs once we got to the register. But later she was super chatty and loud on the phone with her friend while supposedly still working. Usually the service is just okay at best, which is fine since it’s a buffet.
Last but not least, there was a wonderful server named CeCe who was very attentive (unusual for this Golden Corral) and really kind. She was waiting on 3 or 4 tables at once and made sure to check on every guest. I was impressed because that’s hard to pull off. She was also respectful and very nice to the elderly people around her. If I was rating her alone, I’d give her a 5/5, but like I said, everything else gets a 3/5 overall.

First time at this location. We were unfamiliar with the setup which is unlike most GC’s I’ve been to. I was told it’s a “concept store” that was built about 15 yrs ago.

It’s setup similar to how Chinese buffets are arranged, but instead of plates being at each food station, there is only one area located separate from them where an employee gives them out along with one plastic glove. Diners are expected to use it when handling spoons to fill their food plates. I imagine it gets a bit crazy during busy times with this kind of system rather than being able to get the plates yourself. Salad bowls, soup bowls, and ice cream dishes are self-serve at their respective stations.

The food is typical Golden Corral with more variety I’d not seen before at some food stations. While everything tasted okay, it wasn’t the best. The lunch price for seniors was right tho, just $10.99, and included the beverage.

Our waiter was very nice, attentive, and kept the plates cleared throughout our visit.

✨ **A Feast for the Senses at Golden Corral!** ✨

Stepping into the newly remodeled Golden Corral in Greensboro is like entering a culinary wonderland! The fresh, modern decor sets the perfect stage for a delightful dining experience. The staff welcomes you with warm smiles and impeccable service, making you feel right at home.

The buffet is a vibrant palette of flavors, as seen in my delicious plate with tender chicken, crispy fried bites, and a medley of fresh veggies. Each bite is a celebration of taste and quality. The salad bar, filled with crisp greens and savory toppings, offers a refreshing start to the meal. And don’t forget the sweet tea—perfectly brewed and refreshing!

Conveniently located just beside the I-40 interstate, it’s an ideal stop for travelers seeking a satisfying meal on the go. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Golden Corral’s inviting atmosphere and delectable offerings make it a must-visit spot. Treat yourself to a memorable meal where comfort food meets exceptional service!

Safe travels and enjoy your visit!

The chicken and dumplins was DEE-LICIOUS!! Flavor was excellent, dumplins weren’t dry or hard, the chicken was juicy and tender!! All around just a great meal! The meatloaf, on the other hand, was dry and tasted like dried out ketchup. Our waitress was a delight to talk to and she was very prompt on filling our tea glasses and removing the used plates from the table. All around, it was a fairly enjoyable experience ! And for the price, it was cheaper than any ot the fast food places we’ve been to, and it’s All-You-Can-Eat for around $18 a person!

This must be one of the very first Golden Corral locations built in North Carolina or something. I am originally from the Triangle and not the Triad, and this is the smallest Golden Corral Buffet I have ever seen. It’s not even half the size of the buffet location in Burlington or the locations in the Triangle area. I’ve never been to the Winston Salem location so I can’t speak for it. The quality of the food as well as the options are significantly worse than any Golden Corral I had ever been to. That even includes pre improvements that occurred between 2007-2009. It’s smaller than before the big buffet option improvement and chocolate fountain locations I had been to. My spouse and I didn’t believe it was possible to be that greatly disappointed by a Golden Corral. All the locations we had ever gone to had distinctly home cooked foods and way more options. There were just so many things on the buffet that were distinctly boxed or bagged and literally tasted freezer burnt. The people working there were nice enough, but this is just the worst Golden Corral we’ve ever been to.

Edit: The actual reasoning for the smaller size is Golden Corral shrinking some of their stores for the matter of efficiency and to save money after covid on expenses which is unfortunate. I haven’t been to another small Golden Corral so I can’t say if another small one would be any better.
