Haven’t been to Man County since i left Virginia as a whole 9 years ago. Love coming to a franchise and getting 5 star service. Our waitress Margarita didn’t allow our drinks to get lower than 1/2. Then me and my little one was getting dessert and the hostess was walking a visually impaired gentleman around to assist with food selections WE WILL BE BACK. THANK YOU GUYS FOR AMAZING SERVICE AND GOOD FOOD

Oh man I’m such a big fan of golden corral. This location has fried chicken liver, soooo good. The dessert options are a bit juvenile but the lunch menu was to die for. I’ve considered working here part time just to be in close proximity to the beautiful foods. Coming here is an experience. Buckle up (though you may need to unbuckle later)

Very good restaurant. Always have been the food taste good. A gave three stars for atmosphere do to the bathroom needs to be more cleaner. They need to hired two maintains workers to keep their bathroom clean. And make sure that the plates are more clean and steam well. But a good buffet. Food Always fresh.

The place smelled rancid when we walked in. However, who’s going to do something about the roaches? My wife took a video of roaches walking all over the buffet. Look at the other recent reviews, they state the same thing. This can’t be acceptable and will be reported to the health department. Don’t take your family here if you love them.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. This place has really turned into an absolute hot mess. I’m truly disappointed because I’ve been eating at Golden Corral all over the country for a very long time, and it is one of my favorite buffet restaurants. However, this location is by far the worst one I have ever seen. It’s very sad because this is the same location I’ve been going to for years. But, the last time I was here was about 4 years ago and it was literally night and day compared to my last visit yesterday (2/20/26). The food is still decent, but the service was absolutely HORRENDOUS. And, it clearly showed because I can tell it has affected their business. When we were there last night (2/20/26) for dinner, more than half the restaurant was empty compared to 4 years ago where dinners were known to have a line to the door. The service was just downright poor and awful. First, my sweet tea came to me warm. And, literally EVERY SINGLE TIME we needed a refill we had to find our server to ask for it. Not one single time was any of our drinks filled up on their own, but we literally had to ask for them (even water), every single time. Others around us were doing the exact same thing. We couldn’t help but to notice other customers constantly asking for refills, too. A few customers had to get up and walk around to find their server. This, alone, is very inconvenient and unacceptable. And, not one single empty cup was taken away that night. So, yeah we had a bunch of empty cups just sitting at our table the whole night. THEN the person on the line serving steak and ham could barely understand nor communicate with the customers so she had no idea what I was asking for. I asked for a medium rare piece of steak to which she just grabbed a piece that was already cut and sitting there, and tossed it onto my plate. I thought nothing of it because I could only assume she probably already knew how cooked every piece was, right? Not even close. The steak turned out to be completely well done, and I took a few bites of it before tossing it aside. And though this frustrated me, and discouraged me from even going back up there to get more food from the grill, I still gave it one more try. The second time I went up there to get ham, I waited a good solid minute and a half to two minutes just for them to cut the ham for me. Mind you that there was literally NO ONE there except for me, and that same server was right there, standing right in front of me. She pretended to not have seen me until about a minute and a half later. She then cuts me a couple slices of ham upon my request, all the while still having a difficult time communicating with me. And, during this whole time as I was waiting upwards of 2 minutes just for a slice of ham, there was another fella about 5 feet behind her (clearly visible to all the customers). But, rather than help me he was actually just standing there EATING prepped food off of the trays that he had brought out from the back. Yes, you read that correctly. He was eating food behind the line in FRONT of all the customers, and with is bare hands. Talk about unsanitary and unprofessional. Anyhow, those were the two main issues that will very likely prevent us from ever going back to that Golden Corral. Unfortunately, even as a fan I cannot speak too highly of this particular location. They are clearly trending in the wrong direction, and I hope people in the higher ups who “GENUINELY” care about this location will make all the necessary changes. They’ve definitely fallen off pretty badly over the years.

2 stars for the waitress (Reyna) the seating area was empty, she only voluntarily checked on us twice in an hour and half, had to flag her down twice, for plates and drink refills. The food was fresh and delicious, the steak chef deserves a raise. My family consumed a dozen steaks between 3 people all were delicious . Normally service is better.
