This was my first time back since new ownership took over and I have to say that I am pleased with the changes. Gone is the staff smoking out front and they all seemed very nice. The food was warm and tasty and I particularly enjoyed the fried chicken. I wouldn’t normally equate hot dogs with Golden corral but on a whim I picked up one of the hot dogs in the spinny thing and it tasted very good. The food area was refreshed often enough that none of the food I got was cold. In fact the majority of it was very hot. So great job to the ownership on improving things compared to when it started years ago. My one critique is that for the entire time we were there, we never saw a waiter come by to pick up our plates. By the end of the meal our table looked like a war zone. You can judge for yourself from the picture I am including. When we went on a Thursday evening it was not very busy but driving by I have seen it busy at other times. I will definitely be back, and hopefully a waitress will be back as well sometime.

All you can eat, 2 adults…about $55 without tip. Plenty of food, it just wasn’t terrific. Poor food quality. Server, Raven (sp?) was very good. He got a good tip, he earned it. The individual who served steak, wasn’t good…seemed overwhelmed and didn’t like his job. Maybe it wasn’t his fault completely…management should have had 2 servers at the steak station. Took away from the overall experience. Not sure if we’ll be back.

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend and it was pretty great. I had cheese fries, pizza and chicken and he had chicken pork, rice and pizza which were all pretty good ESPECIALLY the red velvet cake. The only thing that was disappointing was the soft serve choc ice cream, it tasted a bit flavorless but overall the rest was good.

Every meat look like it’s been sitting there for eons. I got cake because it’s my birthday and every single piece that I grabbed was dry no matter what style of cake it was, DRY CAKE! The bread and the cornbread were hard. The egg roll was hard. The pot roast was in the pan with no liquid.. weird very weird not appealing at all. Worst Golden Corral that I’ve ever been to it’s not normal. You can’t see any of the food until after you’ve already paid and then walk to the back. I didn’t even bother to take a picture of the travesty here. Happy birthday to me..

I think their food has gone downhill in Manchester NH, plus my other food was getting cold waiting for someone to show up to get a cut of meet? Guy kept leaving the station and others would be waiting for meat. Part of the ice cream maker was not working and only had vanilla available. Service was not great but she came by a cpl times and it wasn’t very busy. Cottage cheese didn’t taste right, I think they changed vendors. No sunflower seeds for salad. BBQ chicken was dry but the fried chicken was good. Pot roast needed more seasoning. Some food just didn’t look good…like it had been sitting there a while so I didn’t try it. Soda station was confusing, I got to the counter to pay and they told us to grab our drinks first but there were no straws while now we were waiting on others to pay…do they have lots of straws stolen. They gave us straws with our silverware?? Like we want you to get your drinks first but you can’t drink them till you pay? That’s why we were paying first but they insisted… awkward to me is all, usually you pay and they get you a cup to fill. Every time I’ve been to west Palm Beach FL Golden corral was awesome probably 13 times… something different here in NH.

The service here was actually good—staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was a big disappointment. A lot of it either looked wet, overly dry, or just didn’t look right at all, which made it unappetizing. Some food labels were missing or didn’t match the actual items, which was frustrating and confusing. Paying before you even see the food feels like a huge red flag, especially when the quality doesn’t match the price. For the same cost, there are much better options literally within walking distance. I wouldn’t recommend eating here.

Decent American buffet restaurant located in a busy strip mall area near and opposite the Mall of NH.
Not to big, relatively roomy and clean. The buffet areas is in the right rear side of the restaurant.
Pick a seat, leave the receipt of what your drink is on the table and help yourself to the buffet.
The meat quality isn’t that great but it’s good enough for a buffet place and the food is filling.
Pace yourself and sample from different dishes.
Nothing special except for the steak offering which you don’t see often. Small sizes but manageable to eat. Just tell the cook how you want it cooked.
Lunch $12.99
Dinner $17.99
Soft drinks $2.99 w/free refills, water is free, some alcoholic beverages are available for more cost.
It was somewhat annoying though that the cashier had to ask if you’d like change for giving tips.
Even though it’s a buffet place, recommend tipping the wait staff as they are working hard despite being short staffed.
The men’s room was relatively clean, located in left rear side of the restaurant.
Come early not towards the end of the night near closing when the food may not be replaced often.
Too bad that there’s only 2 remaining locations in New England: NH and CT.
Visited twice and the food menu didn’t change from the previous visit.

Stopped in to give them another try. Before they closed, this place was probably one of the worst buffets I had ever been to. The food quality was just flat out poor and the type of situation where you just dont go back.

I wasnt able to try everything because they had a lot of variety, and the pricing was only $15/person for lunch. They had a few southern style options such as mac and cheese with pulled pork, and fried okra. That is usually stuff you only find down south, so it was nice to see something other than the usual new england boring stuff available.
This is a buffet, so you cant expect 5 star food. But you can expect decent quality here now for a cafeteria style format.

Food service areas were separated and fully stocked and very attractive and clean. Food was as to be expected at this type of establishment e.g. the banana pudding, rolls, and pot roast. There was potato salad and coleslaw that tasted not the usual. They offered steak cooked to order and It was good. The pork ribs that were out when I was there were fatty with little meat. The waitress was pleasant, all staff were helpful and polite. I suggest not showing up a half hour before closing because they do start picking up in prep of closing. I would go back.
