Golden Corral

I’ve been to 2 Golden Corrals in the last 2 years up in the Disney area. I don’t think I’ve been to Golden Corral in the last 10 years but it has significantly improved. enjoyed the butterfly shrimp immensely the steak was very moist. An added bonus was the unexpected barbecue ribs which were excellent. The same if not better quality which I paid a lot more for up in Disney Springs. They had a well-stocked salad bar taco bar and dessert bar which I definitely made the best of. And the best bonus of all they had real hot fudge not the stuff in the squirt bottle. I saw that the restaurant was in better shape than the two in Orlando and the wait staff was more attentive. I can honestly tell you that I’ve been going to Disney and Disney Springs, parks resorts for the last 20 years. And for $20 to sit down. No pressure, all you can eat. Just a good mix of everything. All I can say is…………………… “I’ll be back.”

Great food and really great service. The employees go above and beyond here in Zephyrhills. This place is really busy so be prepared for that. There’s good and bad with having so many there. They keep most of the food revolving fresh instead of just sitting there which is good and of course lesser eaten items did sit and get dry but that’s to be expected. They also have a extraordinary full menu and then some… There really is so much to choose from you almost can’t decide! Plus so much of the food tastes really great we were all pleasantly surprised. So many delicious entrees and the desserts were phenomenal to both look at and eat. On the negative side it’s rather noisy and crowded at times but that’s usual in a place with good food and decent pricing. If it wasn’t good they wouldn’t be there! The fountain drinks were mixed well as far as the syrup and water…I say that because some places don’t have enough syrup in the fountain mix or enough carbonation in the soda. The place is kept clean and there were so many very friendly and helpful wait staff asking if we needed anything and wishing us welcome when we arrived and while we were being seated at our table and then saying have a good night when we left and these employees didn’t even wait the tables in our area so that was really a nice touch. I highly recommend this place.

First time I have visited this Golden Corral. In fact, it is the first Golden Corral I have visited in over 15 years. Today, I and my two, disabled, senior citizen veterans were incredibly blessed by the courteous staff — from the time we entered the building until we finished our DELICIOUS and NUTRITIOUS LUNCH! Everything was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! My buddies and I are delighted to share our GOOD NEWS experience with our many family members and friends! God bless you, thank you, and WE WILL BE BACK!! Special “Shout Out” to Barbara, the OUTSTANDING DESSERT CHEF!! Felt like I was tasting desserts my beloved Mom and Grandma used to prepare for us! 10 STARS Golden Corral!!

We went to Golden Corral again after 8 years (unpleasant experience from last one), and we got surprised in a good way. This Golden Corral in Zephyrhills is top-notch branch. It is updated, very clean, good food (except for the meatloaf sorry) and service is king (Thank you Mary and Ms. Jenna). We will definitely be back with friends.

I come here often with my son but today I had the pleasure of meeting Ms.Unique in the bakery and what a beautiful and kind spirit she is. I came up staring at all the sweets and goodies and she said hello with such a warm smile . After some chit chat she gave me some recommendations and she took so much pride in the deserts she had made. I tried them happily and if she is ever on duty GET THE BANANA PUDDING, tastes homemade like your family made it !!! It was nice to meet someone with such a welcoming spirit to her. She moved through that bakery like she was in full control and you could tell she was passionate about what she was doing. I truly enjoyed her today and just wanted to highlight a job well done. Thank you Ms.Unique for being YOU 🙂

I really enjoyed my lunch experience today. I’ve been here a few times thus far. The first time the food was mediocre but today it was excellent. My experience here has been a little inconsistent but no deal breaker. I just hope when I go back I’ll have the same great experience I had today. Everything was very clean. Food was very well seasoned and flavorful, the buffet had a great selection food and plenty of variety to choose from. The dessert section is massive. Service was nice, I was checked on a few times and they always left my table clear of plates. Only negative is this how outdated the place is. You can tell this is a much older location but at least they keep it tidy. I genuinely hope they consider renovating in the coming years. A modern Golden Corral would be a game changer!!

I really enjoy going to this golden corral! I have been to a few others around central Florida. Best in the area hands down. Did not wait very long to get in. The food was hot and fresh. The table and area were super clean. Our waitress was on top of everything. Could not ask for a better place to get super full on some good friend and bring a friend they wont be disappointed.

This Golden Corral is consistently one of the best locations I’ve been to between the east and west coast of the US. The entire staff is friendly, very helpful, the dining area clean, cooking staff working hard to ensure food is delicious and fresh and they make some great banana bread to take home as well if you so desire. Oh and the ice cream is some of the best around and worth the price of admission alone! Thank you for always providing a great experience when I go there with my dad to enjoy a great buffet experience. Food was as hot and fresh as ever, even on a very busy day. Thank you!

It’s an all you can eat buffet that serves steaks, what’s not to like.

Like any resturant, it gets busy at peek dining hours, but there’s hardly any wait time, even at their most busiest of hours.

The steak is cooked however you prefer, the quality is way above what you would expect for the price you pay. To the point I don’t ever feel like I need to spend more to get a decent steak.

Staff is always friendly, place is pretty clean (when it gets really busy, there’s going to be some lag between when tables get cleared, it’s just that busy). But have never felt like the staff was slacking, just have to realize, only so much can be done when there’s literally hundreds of people passing through at the busy times.

The selection is far more extensive, than I ever expected, home cooking style food, country style food, Hispanic food, even fried chicken wings (on certain times and days). Deserts are plentiful, Oh and the ice-cream machine has always been working when I have gone (unlike some other places, looking at you McD).

Our waitress Kailyn I hope I spelled that correctly was amazing. We were in town visiting family and I will definitely ask for her next time we go back!! She was attentive and do sweet nothing we asked for was and issue and she even writes a note on her comment cards that my father kept so I had to ask for another one lol. Food was ok hit or miss on some things but very fresh it was definitely busy!
