I was craving Banana Lumpia so I had my sister drive me to Golden Coin here in Wahiawa . I really like their Banana Lumpia, sweet and crunchy along with their breads. My family likes the pick your choice hot food bar with lots of different food options- fried rice, fried noodles, bbq stick etc. The Honey Dew Bubble drink is very refreshing on a hot day, especially since summer is just around the corner, perfect to cool you down. They also have a freezer so you can conveniently have something on hand to eat at home. I grabbed a bag of frozen Manapuas in the freezer for my nephew so he can just nuke it in the microwave for a quick snack after school . Employees are friendly and they make sure the hot food keeps coming out. Lots of choices and very satisfying if you’re in a rush for a quick meal. Convenient parking available on their private lot.

My Sister said the pork guisantes was really good and my mom enjoyed the chicken adobo. My husband however, didn’t think any of the dishes had flavor. The Lechon, chicken adobo, bbq stick, noodles or the chicken My banana lumpia was still crunchy & yummy though.

Food was delicious and the restaurant was clean and inviting. Hard to tell what some items were but they looked amazing! The staff was super nice!

Not a lot of options for vegetarians! Price was not too bad… some items had to be purchased as sides…

The food was delicious and the service was very good. The woman who helped us was very patient and explained what the different foods were when we asked. The portions were large and service was also very quick.

Only place on Oahu I know with Ube ice cream! The lechon and fried chicken is pretty good. Pancit is the bomb. Chicken adobo was okay.

This is an attack! Gr! My mom ordered Monggo beans but instead what she got was a food cup filled with Monggo soup and only a pitiful amount of beans. Other than that this place can be nice with the Spanish rolls and pandesal. Halo-Halo’s texture is all over the place but I guess it isn’t for me. The tapioca smoothies are nice. The Filipino treats are nice. Service is prettty chill. You get some surprising parking. I am a Filipino, Mexican born in Hawaii, raised primarily on my Filipino side. I get the reasonable gist of the culture. I rate this place 3.8 stars out of 5.

Friendly staff surfing up traditional Philippine favorites. It is a cafeteria style chain but the food looks to be made in small batches so it’s reasonably fresh. Flavors were very good! The pork adobo was tender with a deep rich broth. Pastries had great texture and solid flavors. Top it off with very reasonable prices.

Breakfast – The fried rice taste like fish oil, sausage needs to be more fried.

I love this place! Great food, large portions, and they sell great desserts like my mother used to make for me when I was young. I judge every Filipino place off its Dinuguan. If they get that good enough then I will be a repeat customer and try everything else. Tocino is on point!

Not sure how long their food was sitting in the warmers. So I am thinking it’s just for display and they will make a new batch. So I ordered pork adobo for dinner. Got home, had dinner …… Not more than a half hour later my stomach had such a horrific experience from the food at Wahiawa Golden Coin. I could never get take out from there again.

The food was good and the service was better than average. No liver sauce available for the lechon.
The lumpia was hot, crispy, and tasty.
