Ordered take out… what J ordered and how it tasted…
Pinacbet…. Gross.. took a bite of eggplant and it was nasty…
Pork Adobe…never tasted adobo like this before junk
Pansit Binhon …. Bland no taste
Mungo….. No taste
Pork and Peas.. were the peas? It looked like pork stew …
PLUS when you pay the price of take out .. you should at least enjoy your food … They don’t even deserve the 1 star … but I really wanted to share this experience hoping to save a customer $$$ and have the management of this establishment taste their food and get a new cook… something need to change

Decent Filipino specialty foods. If you are up early and wanna skip the fast food chains then this is your spot if you are in the area. They open at 5:00am. Just know this is a small shop. I wouldn’t plan to dine in if more than 2people.

Nice selection of hot food, fried snacks and baked goods. I only had the turon, or banana lumpia, which I guess is what Hawaiians call it. The exterior was great, really crispy with a sweet caramel coating, but the plantain inside was dry and kinda hard. My family got the 3 item combo plates and were pretty happy with how everything tasted, even the dinuguan, or blood stew.

After not even being greeted when we walked in, the woman serving us had a nasty attitude while taking our order. To make matters worse, she had her thumb in my bowl as she scooped my food. I watched as the food bounced off of her hand into the bowl. I was disgusted. I asked her where her gloves were, and to make me another bowl. She then went to the register to take the payment with her hand resting on a damp rag used to moisten fingers for counting bills. I never once saw her wash her hands before or after. We left without any food. I will never come back here.

This is my emergency go to when I’m not able to cook my favorite dish at home. Location is right around the corner from home. Food is not the best but good enough to satisfy your cravings for Filipino food. Portions are small for the price you pay. Employees are NOT so friendly, I haven’t met one yet with a customer service friendly smile. Hopefully they hire someone who wants to be there so atmosphere can be a little less pressure..

As others have pointed out, the attitude here is something else. Even asking something as simple as if you have forks yields a snarky, “Just wait. We’ll give you one” and slamming the fork and napkins into the bag.
Also, you think you’re buying a two item combo but it seems like half of the items are available only with an upcharge or as a side, even though some of the food looks like it’s just a poor reheat from the previous night, after having been already sitting for hours earlier that day. SMH.
The food is normal/average/as expected.

Still in the Cali time zone so finding something open in Ewa Beach before 6am wasn’t a fast food chain was awesome! The ladies helped me order and were super nice. Food was great. The shop was clean and organized. Will visit several times before leaving Hawaii ❤️

I don’t do reviews often, but was very disappointed in the few things I tried here. pancit was plain, just no flavor. the vegetable egg roll honestly was bad- tasted like dirt to me, couldn’t finish it. the banana lumpia was edible but my least favorite out of the few other places I’ve tried. really want to like this place because it is so convenient to home, but just can’t endorse it :-/

I believed all customers deserved to be treated with respect and courtesy at all times. Unfortunately this is something that we didn’t feel when we had visited the Ewa Beach branch very recently. No greetings. Staff on duty were very grouchy and irritated when asked about their products. The staff named Virginia Kabi was really rude and disrespectful. I also noticed that she is only wearing one gloves which i believed she should have worn gloves on both of her hands since it involves food handling.
What is also frustrating is when i asked to speak to a supervisor, we were informed to just call the main office since no supervisor is on duty. I called the main office yesterday however we were connected to an IT person since per that person no manager is available. Just a concern, is this how the company handles concerns and complaints? No direct person is available to talk to? Very frustrating.
