Excellent food, very polite and professional staff. I grew up eating at the Ding How that used to be across the road next to Carvels. This has been my only go-to for Chinese food for some years now. The woman and the young people at the counter are very friendly and welcoming. They always greet me with a smile and a hello.

At work, we get takeout from here all the time for lunch. Everyone is always happy with their order. On the home front, we have decided to get our dinner takeout from here and once again very happy.
I normally get general to chicken, which is always good. This evening, I was a little daring and decided to try their beef lomein. Oh my goodness. Knocked it out of the park. Nice rich flavor, with perfect balance of beef, noodles, carrots, and bean sprouts. The beef is tender and cooked just right.
Dumplings and sauce are fantastic. And egg rolls are crunchy on the outside and packed with yum. Sorry about no picture of the eggroll. I finished eating it, then realized, oops, no picture… next time.

Probably the worst take-out Chinese food we have ever received. I won’t say “eaten” because what they gave us was not edible. We ordered Boneless Chicken H10 $11.95 and it was a grease saturated mess. The chicken inside was si overcooked it was petrified. I surmise it was something previously cooked that they dropped in the fryer again. Completely disgusting. Beware of any restaurant that thinks it would be ok to send you home with this.

I just had the most bizarre and infuriating dine-in experience at Golden City Chinese restaurant. The food was ok, but the service was horrible.
But the truly unbelievable part? They didn’t give us the plate for dine in! The Chinese lady who was taking food orders knew that we were going to dine in but still gave us in a to-go package. We started eating from the package, which she saw, but she didn’t had the decency to provide 2 plates, and I had to ask for it. The whole experience was just surreal and frankly, insulting.
Customers are paying for their food, so don’t act like you are doing them a favor.

I ordered the Broccoli with garlic sauce, and it wasn’t to my liking. Also I had two spring rolls which was disgusting, the cabbage was mushy and had an awkward taste. The garlic sauce was garlicky, chestnut and carrots. Don’t care for chestnuts at all, the Chinese lady was just so nonchalant about the service, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

Very good Chinese food, a significant step up from your average. Wonton soup is unique with very large dumplings, and I find the house special lo mein the best I’ve had.

Best Chinese takeout I’ve had in New York state so far, pretty good food and good portions for the prices especially post-covid. I wouldn’t say the orange chicken is spicy much at all but you can taste the spices so its delicious. The golden sesame was also very good. Chicken is well sauced and still crispy.
