Avoid this place like the Plague! When first arriving at the restaurant, I walk to the front door to find 2 boxes of used frying oil just sitting on the sidewalk next to the front door. The oil smelled awful, I figured they must’ve recently changed it. After walking inside,I was stunned by how filthy-dirty the place was. Everything was all over the place, what a dump! It was getting late, so I decided to place a small order of food, against my better judgment. That was a big mistake, the food was not edible. I threw everything ordered in the trash. The whole place was just filthy, dirty walls, floors, windows, kitchen area, I can-not say anything positive about this place, other than, I’ll never be back again! I do-not recommend this place to anyone. Any business owner who runs a business like this, deserves to be out of business! The health department should definitely investigate this place. I decided to post their menu on here so everyone can see how unorganized and disgusting this place actually is. They can-not even spend money to purchase new menus, so they use white-out and a pen on all of the menus to change the prices. I’ve never seen anything like this before, so I just had to warn everyone who’s considering possibly going here. I have one word for you, DON’T! Have a Blessed day….

Don’t judge a book by its cover, this applies to this restaurant, they don’t have fancy renovation but they do use quality food material, I can tell because I traveled around the country to do work with my camper van I sure eat a lot of take out foods.

This is far by the best “Takeout”Chinese food that I have found in the area since moving from New York a few years ago. I don’t know about you all, but I can taste the quality ingredients can tell the difference in preparation versus other classic takeout joints. If you need a quick easy example, get some of their wonton soup and look at the broth. That alone is an example of the high-quality preparation and ingredients that goes into the food from this restaurant. Hey…, To each their own, but I just wanted to show some respect to these guys because in my world some Chinese takeout is a pretty nice and important thing every now and then.

Haven’t been here in months due to having a bad experience. I decided to give them another shot since I was near by. The experience was worse. Food had no flavor general tso chicken was brown every dish was horrible. So bad my kids didn’t even eat it and they love Chinese food. Their establishment is also falling apart looks very dirty inside and unsanitary. I will continue to go to new dragon for my Chinese.

Ignore the reviews of the elitist snobs that unfortunately come along with the restaurant being located where it is. We’ve been customers of this place for over 10 years and refuse to go to any other Chinese restaurant in the immediate DE/PA area. This place is simply great. Affordable, expected quality for the price. The family that owns the place is always so kind and thankful for choosing them to dine with. They’ve never not accommodated a request, and have never made a mistake on our orders. Only once was my order not ready on time, and I was apologized to multiple times when it happened. Love this place and will continue to visit for years to come!

My go-to hometown Chinese take-out. Orange chicken, sesame chicken, or Mei Fun. Fair pricing. Friendly owners. Good hours.

Ordered take out, the food just tasted fried and didn’t have much flavor.

The egg drop soup was terrific, the roasted pork with mixed vegetables was good, Wonton and hot and sour soup were ok, The beef with garlic sauce was inedible! Every piece of beef was gristly and rubbery and the chicken on a stick was fatty and a weird texture. Consequently we threw half of our food out and wasted almost $40.

Best Chinese in Hockessin by far! Sometimes a little hard to get through on the phone but worth the wait. Kitchen is exposed so you can see they are hygienic. Family operated and their kids run the counter. Great taste and always fresh!
