I ordered the seafood lo mein. The lobster and the scallops were questionable. The scallops look too uniform to be actual scallops the lobster didn’t look like Lobster at all. But the broccoli and vegetables and the shrimp were good. The general tso’s was very good. And the beef teriyaki strips are very good. I would recommend it but not the seafood lo mein

Deserves five stars across the board for being exactly what is awesome in a take out Chinese restaurant: clean enough, efficient, family business, excellent food. Is it fancy fine dining? No. Are you in need of high quality hot and sour soup and chicken finger? None of that matters. Pork fried rice is a little pale and lacking on amount of pork but this is a very small detail in my opinion. Lo mein has the sauce and flavor to make up for it!

With having always gone to China Rose down the road and then now being shut down I wanted to try a new Chinese spot and chose Golden Chopsticks. I ordered through DoorDash and the food came right on time and nice and hot. I ordered the General Tso Dinner Combination. The chicken was packed with flavor and delicious and is some of the best I’ve had around, I would definitely recommend this dish as it left me very satisfied! The rice and egg roll that came with it were decent. I also got the Boneless Spare Ribs which were delicious and the steamed dumplings which were decent. Not the best Chinese I’ve had but I will definitely be going back there since it’s probably the best spot in the area if you don’t want to drive all the way to Portland for Chinese food.

“Kung pao” chicken… aka bland scraps of fried chicken with celery? Water chestnuts? Massive chunks of bell pepper? No resemblance to kung pao

Worst chinese food in maine.
Ordered the beef chow mein.
Got beef stew with no noodle, only bean sprouts.
My girl said this place was good, I no longer take food advice from her.

It’s been my favorite Chinese take-out for as long as I can remember. My family of 6 would typically order once a week, however Over the last 6 months quality has gone down to a point that I don’t think I will be going back. Portions have continued to decrease, food quality has decreased. The last 3 times I have ordered, food has been bland and lacking seasoning and quality. Very disappointed from a life long customer.

I really like this restaurant. I think it’s the best place for Chinese take out in the Brunswick area. The prices are good for the portions of food that they give you and it always tastes fresh when I get it.
I also like the family owned vibe that they have inside it seems like a nice business.

I’ve never eaten here till tonight and let me tell you…. it’s hard to find really good quality Chinese takeout that’s any where close to what I am used to. The rice was ‍ . Cooked just right and big portion with the combination plate I ordered. The general tso was sweet and spicy(it should be). Others don’t seem to do this part well, but this place did it perfect. Comes with a soup too. Everything just has so much and so many flavors. I can’t say enough how much I loved the food here.

Slightly worse than mediocre. Spring rolls were only cooked on the most outer layer, doughy after that. Chicken fingers just edible. Lo Mein and or Chow mein are just a sloppy mess. Don’t expect to get a side of crispy noodles.

Just a really solid takeout spot, hits the right notes for Chinese food. General Tso’s is great, sweet and sour is fried well, and the folks running the place are efficient and lovely. Love that this spot is here and it’s a great no stress pick up when I don’t feel like cooking anything!
