I ordered to go, and when I got home I realized that I didn’t receive veggie chow mein and that my soda was completely flat and tasted old. When I called, the woman I spoke to tells me that chow mein is cabbage, not noodles… it was basically a cabbage soup. The Szechuan wontons have zero spice, even though we chose moderately spicy, and if you have an issue with your order, they leave you on hold while they take other orders. The wonton soup and crab Rangoons were good, but we didn’t like any of the rest of the order. The S. wontons and the hot & sour soup had way too much cornstarch to thicken it, so they were gloppy.

This was the worse scam I’ve ever encountered and for the prices yall need to be very ashamed of yourselves. I placed a door dash order for a large rib and 2 shrimp rolls thinking it’s enough for the 2 of us. How sadly mistaken was I when I received an order of burnt bones covered in sauce. Literally inedible there was not 1 edible bone in this order and they knew that when the packaged this mess. I’m highly pissed because the ribs alone were $17 which means I spent about $30 on 2 small behind shrimp rolls cause that’s all that could be eaten. If I could give this place a negative 20 I would.

Golden China located in the Teeter shopping Center in Rock Hill, SC has excellent food! Their Egg rolls are an area favorite of mine. Very good/competitive prices and the service is quick!
Quite a variety of Chinese dishes too.
There are 3 areas to eat so basically is takeout mostly, but glad it survived Covid.

Since moving to Rock Hill we haven’t been able to find a good Chinese restaurant until now. This place is hands down the best! The food was prepared fast, fresh and the proportions are nice. There shrimp egg rolls are the best around and the crab rangoons wonderful, they even gave us a complimentary sweet tea! We’ll most definitely be back!

The food was good. Very hot!! I had the beef and Broccoli and my husband had the wings and chicken fried rice. It was put together extremely well and I will definitely be back for more !!

We have ordered numerous times from Golden China. The food is generally good but could use a little more seasoning in the fried rice dishes. Also I love Kung Po chicken but can’t appreciate their version as it has HUGH chunks of green pepper that are raw which seems to be the bulk of the dish. Flavor is fine but could reduce the size and amount of green pepper and cook it. We will definitely keep ordering from here but I just won’t get my Kung Po chicken from here. The Pork and Beef Lo Meins, egg rolls and egg drop soup are all delicious. Overall 4 stars.

I’ve been coming here for years, but recently they have new ownership with to much attitude. Recently I have been really disappointed in their food. Me and the wife are allergic to Onions and we have asked them not to put onion in our food. It goes in one ear and out the other.
The last time they offered to make the food and i agreed to drive back to them in order to have dinner.
Today we ordered dinner and once again asked them not to put onions in our food. I went to pick up and asked them if the food had onion they assured me it had no onions.
Guess what I come home and the diss had Onions, They verified with the cooks and sure enough they cooks told them it has onions.
They wanted to remake the dish and I insisted I wasn’t going back today.
I asked for a refund and they refused the refund knowing they are at fault.
The owner of the restaurant would not get on the phone, and the young lady’s are minors so they don’t have any say.
Nice young girls but management and cooks have no regard whatsoever for customer service or any care in the world.
Golden China, it’s simple! Listen to your customers and deliver them what they order and when you make a mistake and a customer ask for refund do the right thing.

We order food from this restaurant frequently for the last 5 years and they have been consistently good….. delivery is timely and food is always warm. If something is wrong, they will make it right. I would recommend this restaurant for take out any time.
