Quiet little Chinese place next to Giant Eagle. Food was superb. Service was iffy, cashier didn’t seem happy to be there. But overall everyone was friendly and the experience was good!

Very good food. So tasty. Some of the best Chinese cuisine I’ve ever had. Definitely going back!

Good food, good price. This was a lunch portion under 10 dollars, and was cooked fresh.

Food tasted okay but I’m pretty convinced most places don’t actually know what a Pad Thai is, they just throw some peanuts on there and call it a day. It was definitely missing the pad Thai sauce and flavor I was looking for.

I ordered via Door Dash. Food was here FAST. We ordered chicken fried rice, shrimp lo mein, and honey chicken. Large portions. This fed our family of 5 and still plenty left over. Everything was hot and cooked perfectly. Noodles were not soggy, rice wasn’t dry, shrimp was fresh and plump. I was impressed enough to Google search the restaurant to leave this review if that says anything.

First everyone is always friendly and helpful. Second there isn’t anything our family has ordered we didn’t like. We’ve ordered new items from here we’ve never ordered before and now have new favorites! Third I am also a part time delivery driver for one of the “apps” and I’ve never had one issue or complaint from any of my customers for this restaurant! The orders are hot, accurate, ready to go quickly and clean! That’s probably the one thing that has impressed me the most about Golden China Express is their cleanliness behind the counter in the kitchen. I make a lot of deliveries which means I make a lot of food pickups. There are definitely places I’ve seen I will never order food from. I know sometimes people may have a bad day and run into an issue or two, but this restaurant review has been made after more than a year of personal and professional experience and I give it all 5 stars! Kudos!

Zero stars. If I could… Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life. And I’ve had Chinese food in 10 different states. I ordered honey chicken with fried rice and two egg rolls. Not everywhere has honey chicken but if it does. That’s what I get. I was a little bit concerned when they said it would be ready in ten minutes…. Fortunately for them I didn’t Eat any of the food until I got home…. I opened the first container. I thought maybe I got the wrong order because I saw dry breaded chicken just like you would get if you ordered sweet and sour chicken. There was sauce in a separate container. That appeared to be honey sauce. I tried to be optimistic And thought maybe dipping the chicken in the sauce would somehow be better.. Unfortunately…….It tasted like watered down honey Which Was extremely concerning due to the gel like texture Of the sauce.. As I was extremely hungry, I tried to eat a little bit of it and See if it tasted better with the chicken. No it did not it tasted worse. The fried rice was microwave dinner quality at best. And the egg rolls tasted just like those ones that you get on the roller grill from the truck stop. Actually, they tasted worse than those.. very slimy and undercooked. So that got tossed immediately, and so did the rice and all but three pieces of chicken. Just over $20 of my hard-earned money completely wasted. I could have maybe went back I’ve got a refund but I would much rather warn potential customers to run far far away. Eating sand with ketchup on it would Be a better option

We used to order Chinese from this place every couple months, our order was usually about $60-$80 so we’d have leftovers for awhile. The food was really good and the prices were a bit more expensive than others in the area, but they had a decent coupon for a free General Tso if you ordered enough. Given how much we spent on the regular, it felt like being rewarded for our repeated business. Even through Covid we ordered here many times. However a while back they changed their prices dramatically. I ordered what we would have normally ordered and should have cost about $70, and then the woman on the phone says it’ll be $114. I was so shocked, I just told her to cancel it. I can understand rising costs, but over $40 for the same thing was insane. I don’t understand how you can keep customers like that. Especially since there are several other Chinese restaurants in less than 5 minute drive with way cheaper prices and higher customer ratings. We tried one of those and have never looked back. Not only is it cheaper than this place EVER was, but the food is way better, too.

Delivered by Doordash. Ordered the Special Fried Rice, Shrimp & Mushrooms and two egg rolls . One shrimp tasted bad so I spat it out.
There were no utensils, no napkins and the egg rolls failed to appear your Honor.
Overall it was a rather ordinary lackluster experience.
