My husband and I decided to try a new Chinese takeout because we heard such great reviews in Facebook about this restaurant, which is why we’re so shocked that our food was so terrible. We ordered 2 shrimp rolls, General Tso’s Chicken and Roast Pork Chow Fun. The Shrimp rolls smelled like they were fried in week old dirty oil, and they were so hard to chew, yet the inside was complete mush – so disgusting! And it didn’t get any better. The first thing we noticed was the weird color of the General Tso’s chicken – dark brown like chocolate. The sauce wasn’t a sauce at all; it was a gelatin. My husband picked up the entire mass of chicken as one piece with his fork – it was fried together like a funnel cake. The chicken was so tough like Jerry. Then we moved on to the Roast Pork chow fun where the noodles were complete mush and the pork was so fatty with bristle. Absolutely everything went into the trash. I was so mad about the money wasted and how the reviews were not trust-worthy.

An absolute hidden gem!!!!!! I have found my new favorite spot! We ordered 2 lunch specials.ordering was very easy. Once at the restaurant staff was extremely friendly. Food was amazing! I cannot wait to try more from the menu!

I’m from up north in the state, and happened to be down in Clinton pursuing some good sunset beach photos for my photography class. Was going to go to dominos but saw this cute little place in the same plaza and changed my mind. Very cozy and nostalgic atmosphere, great service and super good prices. Their fried rice was the opposite of bland. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for good comfort food. Thanks guys!!!

Yesterday, September 4th my wife and I decided to try this restaurant out. We ordered the Chicken and Broccoli a quart, a quart of Egg Drop Soup. We called the restaurant and had the food delivered to our home. The young lady said 35 to 40 minutes and before we new the driver was at our home. Everything was very hot and delicious and the delivery gentlemen was kind and very polite. Nothing but 5 Stars for this restaurant and delivery service. I have a long history of not liking Chinese food. Honestly, I don’t understand the fuss.
So when my wife suggested we order from this place, especially since they had free delivery for orders over $10, I figured I’d give it a chance.
I’m glad I agreed with her.
I ordered the General Tso’s Combo Platter (see accompanying photo).The general must have enjoyed large meals because the portion I received was enough for dinner and then for lunch the next day.
My only complaint was the delivery time. It took nearly an hour to receive it. And when my wife went out to meet the delivery guy for the food-he had a cool mask with a big smile on it -he took a while to leave while he asked her about the history of our old farm house.
I get it. People ask all the time about that. We just wanted to eat and have our food not get cold.
Which leads me to the next positive. ➕ Despite the wait and conversation ️, the food was piping hot ♨️ as if it just came out of the oven.
Overall, as a not-so-often eater of Chinese food, I recommend this place to fill your belly in the evening and the next afternoon.
