My husband (and me breifly) worked at Golden Chicken in Green Bay 20+ years ago. Never miss a chance to stop at this location when we come down to Milwaukee. The chicken, the BBQ sauce, and the coleslaw is phenomenal! Could drink the BBQ sauce! Stopping by tomorrow and so excited I had to write a review ahead of time!

I order from here pretty regularly because I love their food. I usually do delivery but I did pickup today. There was a man outside the establishment who told me he was hungry. When I went inside to pickup my order, I asked if I could order a dinner for him. Instead, they gave me a meal for him free of charge. What wonderful humans!

First time going there ordering a 12-piece bucket of chicken with coleslaw and fries. Problem was the breading on the chicken is so damn salty caused swelling in my hands and ankles and ankles from too much sodium intake. Also the small container of coleslaw you get for a 12-piece meal is ridiculous. That was just enough for one person. What if there were three or four people eating the meal there wouldn’t have been enough coleslaw for everybody. I may be back at some point but not for the chicken meal unless they change their breeding with a little less sodium. And they need to start replying to good reviews, that’s good business practice.

We got the ribs and chicken deal and were well worth it. We got mac and cheese as a side with some cheddar cheese balls and some breaded mushrooms. Everything was hot and fresh when we picked it up, and we had enough for leftovers. Now I’ve had their chicken before, so I already knew it was good but had never tried the ribs, and they were so tender and flavorful. I was expecting a small portion, but thru gave us plenty! Will def be going back and would def recommend it to anyone!

They are not the same, chicken isn’t Fresh, french fries not fully cooked, when I went back in for ketchup, they didn’t have any this was 2pm. Maybe I caught the wrong day.☹️

Ordered recently after not having it for years. 4 piece chicken dinner was so good, I ate the whole meal. That never happens. That crust on their chicken is legendary. I requested my delivery for a specific time & they came right when I requested. Driver was a nice guy also.

My family has ordered from this location regularly for years because the food is always delicious. Tonight, when attempting to order delivery (which has never been an issue), we were first told that we were “out of their delivery zone.” When we told the young woman on the phone that we always order delivery, she said “yeah, I see that. We can’t deliver tonight, we’re too busy.”
Needless to say, we ordered from a different location, and won’t be ordering from here again.
