I asked the lady behind the counter to make my wings spicy. She asked if I wanted them tossed in buffalo sauce. Absolutely amazing. You have to try it and every time we’ve eaten at this establishment it has always been clean and a very friendly staff.

Half of my tenders were covered in this spicy seasoning, which I didn’t ask for. Also, I asked if I could get some of their signature sauce. She charged me for it, but forgot to put it in my bag. I asked if they put the sauce in the bag, and they had a discussion about why it wasnt in the bag, then gave me the sauce. Also, for one of my sides, I asked for the slaw. When I got home, it had something black floating in it(mold maybe?). I didn’t feel good about it so we didn’t eat it. Overall, just not satisfied with the food or service. We pay for the food, and its very disappointing when we get a bad meal.

Wife and I made a trip and we came to Rockport come lunch time we came to eat at Golden Chick we walked in apparently everyone in there was of white nature we were the only Hispanics The young lady behind the counter at the register handled herself outstanding to all the white people when it came to my wife and I we are Hispanic he wouldn’t even bring us our meal to the table he had someone else do it I think that was very racist we were coming here if you’re of the Hispanic nature I just read your response to my review just to add to the matter The young lady or ladies were speaking to everyone else like they were family they knew them and handled themselves very well with them we did not get two words out of them

This place has really gone downhill. The chicken thighs were TINY and half the order was wrong–roast chicken instead of fried. No gravy for the mashed potatoes. Single mashed potatoes instead of family. Even the rolls were dry. We won’t be back

TERRIBLE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! I went in and ordered a 3 pc with dirty rice and a catfish and dirty rice and they had me wait a total of 40 minutes 40 and the front counter lady told me they didn’t have any chicken because it’s been all tenders that day which is fine bunch no chicken takes 40 minutes to fry then when I get my order the fish was literally broken chunks I grabbed my order and yes I stormed out in a fit but then I realized I’m the customer and that they should make it right after numerous insults and being called names I got my order and left I highly would not recommend

We had all white mixed roasted & fried checked, green beans & Cole slaw. Everything was delicious. The roasted chicken was especially delicious and moist. Green Beans tasted home cooked.
