Called the store to report tea grounds in tea Steven the manager had informed me he arrived at 3:30 PM and that the morning crew had made the tea incorrectly. I arrived at 4pm and don’t know if the tea should be lasting that long or if another batch should’ve already been made for his shift. Also was handed a broken cup an had I not noticed would have made a huge mess I know it’s only a golden chick but a little pride in what you do goes a long way hopefully I get a response from golden chick telling me that they’re sorry and to come back and try it again, but unfortunately, I don’t think I will. I think this is why a lot of restaurants go down. And then people wonder why they don’t get paid what they think they’re worth for an hour.

This is the place to come and eat. We came in at 8:45 at night, knowing that they close at 9:00PM. The Manager, Bruce welcomed us in and took care of our whole team. They dropped food in the fryer when we walked in and had it out in minutes. Highly recommend them if you’re in a pinch and need to feed a crew.

We ordered two orders of wings, catfish and the family strips and everything but one order of wings were cold. I understand the weather today is freezing literally but that shouldn’t change the quality of the food. The time management was terrible heat wise. All the food should be at least warm when you get it. Waiting 30 mins I would expect to atleast be able to enjoy my food without having to reheat it at home. This is the only golden chick that has not satisfied me and for that I won’t be coming to this location any more. Also they only gave us 2 sauces for all that food and no rolls..

UPDATE – my recent visit was slightly bumpier than my first, and I honestly think it’s because the music is way too loud. We had to repeat our order 3 or 4 times to the cashier (dine in) and still one our plates were wrong. Now, the staff did correct the mistake with no issues, but I think the problem would have been avoided if the music was not as loud as it was. Looking over the dining room, I did see people in their tables had to use their outside voices to communicate with each other or repeat themselves often. Not changing my rating because besides the loudness of the music, the rest of my experience was similar to the last.
It’s new in the area, so expect slight delays. That being said, the staff are friendly, the food is delicious, and service is great.

Everything is done fast here but cannot put simple things in the bag, like napkins or utensils. As well as managers are extremely rude, crew members are outside doing whatever they want. This Golden Chick seriously needs to be reviewed and get their store together.

I am very upset the food was over cooked . I could not even eat it. The gizzards and fried chicken were so hard . So I tried to call and tell them and no answer. I called 10 times.This was a waste of money that I don’t have to just throw away and go get something else. So we didn’t eat. It has always been good . I just don’t think we will be back and it’s because I couldn’t even get ahold of anybody. This was about 7pm so they were open for a while still!

The new GM tom is very unfriendly and unapproachable should not be working fast food if you can’t be nice to the public. Kept giving me nasty looks and didn’t smile or greet me once . Rude to his employees should not be doing that in front of public or in general. Do better

First time for me since I just moved back from Massachusetts when I left in the late 70s there was no Golden Chicken, So I ordered the chicken tenders and liked every bit of itI even had a side of Jalapeños with the 30oz drink (6 piece) of course, I give it five stars ✨ due to taste and tenderness.
