Driving around with the family we decided to stop by this Coppers Coce location. The two employees appeared extremely busy so we waited. When they noticed us the cashier began to explain that they were short staffed (that’s putting it lightly) and they would be right with us. We didn’t mind waiting so we sat down and just chatted as we watched them literally running to make orders. I went to the front and emphasized to him to not worry and to take his time as we understood their reasons and we were the only in the lobby. He thanked us politely and immediately returned to finish orders. When he was done, he took our orders, upgraded our drinks for the kind wait and served us at our table. The food was perfect. It was fresh, piping hot and the rolls were shiny and soft, the chicken juicy! The cashier later explained that he was the new General Manager (GM) Donald S. and the drive through employee, Ray who was working just as hard to get the orders out. They were communicating, describing the customer’s as Miss and Sir even if the customers weren’t aware. I found that refreshing. Like true gentleman that nodded in recognition of their customers needs and always smiled despite the stress, never allowing their customs to feel anything but the pleasure of fresh food. These type of rare employees should be rewarded. The GM even credited his employees with helping him learn the ropes as he was new which is very humble and I’m certain, appreciated by them. What a respectable place to work. Thank you gentleman for all your hard work. It is certainly appreciated and we will be returning with friends and family.

These two young men handle the challenges with a positive attitude, always staying professional and proud of their work. The food is always fresh, and their service truly exceeds expectations.

Was told that their chicken sandwich was better than the ones of their competitors so decided to try it.
Being a new business in town and only recently opened I expected some confusion with new inexperienced employees but was pleasantly surprised with the customer service and quick handling of my order.
I can only speak of the chicken sandwich; I found it to be of the same level of quality and taste of the other locations I’ve used within the community.
I will come back and try other items from their menu.

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to the two employees working during this stormy weather. With horrible road conditions and a nonstop rush of customers, they stayed positive, patient, and hardworking the entire time. You could tell they were doing absolutely everything they could to keep things moving and still provide great service.
It is not easy being short-staffed, especially during bad weather, but they handled it with professionalism and kindness. Their effort did not go unnoticed, and they truly deserve recognition for stepping up and showing dedication to their jobs. Thank you both for your hard work and great attitudes!

I stopped by just after the big freeze (it was still pretty frozen outside), and even though they were clearly running on a skeleton crew, they were taking online and in person orders nonstop. Despite that, everything came out right, tasted great, and didn’t take long at all. I’ve been consistently happy with the service here for months and haven’t had any issues yet. Thanks for all you guys do.

We walked in and ordered. It was between 7pm and 7:30pm on a Friday night. We ordered Tenders and Poppers (8) 2 of which had nothing in them, just the shell. The guy at the register did not seem like he wanted to be there…seemed kinda rushed. There was No ice and No napkins. Asked for ice and got a little bit from behind the counter that did no good because the Big Red was flat, so I dumped it out. Got the water and it was not cold. Then, A big Family came in behind us and their kid was so loud that I couldn’t hear what my Husband was saying and he was sitting across from me. I really wanted to turn and yell “Shut Up!” Like…seriously, I don’t mind kids but have some respect. He talked super loud the entire time, I literally ate fast to leave. I mean…How Rude. Teach your kid manors and respect. We finally got ready to leave & both trashes were full and pulled out…looked like they were closing down at 7pm. There are WAYYYYY too many Chicken places here in Cove for this kind of atmosphere and service. Step it up.

I stopped in for dinner and could immediately tell the staff was overwhelmed, yet the two employees working never let it show in their attitude. They stayed polite, helpful, and kept things moving as best they could, even with long lines and difficult conditions outside.
It’s not often you see that level of commitment when circumstances are tough. They handled a stressful situation with professionalism and deserve recognition for the effort they put in today.

My daughter and I hit the drive through a little after 11am today. There were 2 people working that were so kind. Our food was fresh and staff wished us a great day. Came home and must say we are pleasantly surprised. The food surpassed our expectations. The French fries hit the spot. I am feeling greedy and like I need to go back for more! Visited today via the drive through, while I was the only person waiting in line, I was asked repeatedly to pull away from the window without my food, I was told this would stop the clock and make the store look better to corporate. This shows a lack of trust and reliability. And makes me question if this is the business practices of golden chick what else are they doing to cheat the system, can I even trust these guys with my food?
