Honestly so underrated. I’ve eaten here lots of times. The food is always fresh, you can see them preparing it. The fries are hot, the spicy chicken with lotta zing sauce is my favorite, and the raspberry lemonade is to die for. The pricing is reasonable and there is never a line, so it’s a quick stop on your lunch break.

Overall, definitely won’t visit this location again. The fries were aging and hard as rock, the gravy was cold upon eating my meal and lastly the chicken tender was dry. I figured I would try this location out due to being close to my apartment but guess again…. If you like your meals as I described this place is for you!

If I could give zero I would. Dark very greasy very small chicken tenders. 8 prices of fried okra in each bag. The guy was arguing with me about my sauces I paid for. Also, ordered a gallon of sweet tea and instead received 2 fountain teas that were no where near the size of a gallon. I should have listened to all of the bad reviews I’ve read on this store and never paid for food here. Never ever again will I order food from here or any other golden chick.

Breakfast is average but can eat all you wish in a regular restaurant, from eggs to pancakes, best time to come by is after4pm when the grill start cooking beef… my two cents.

I usually look at reviews before going anywhere. My bad for real! My first time eating here. I have a bunch of howaboutisms. How about the guy working there had no personality at all!. How about I instantly did not trust giving him my debit card. How about he failed to close the lid on my drink and it spilled all over my hands. How about I have to pull around and wait for my food. How about the fries were old and nasty. How about the rest of the food was too. How about this week be the LAST time I eat here!

I gave this place 5 stars because I’m constantly here for lunch. Be it bakes chicken breast or the wicked wings with corn nuggets. Prices are good and I enjoy the taste.

This place is located next to a shell gas station at rufe snow and hightower. The people who own the gas station are amazing, friendly, and have great customer service, the Golden chick not so much. Currently walked out of the store because the only person who acknowledged my presence decided to take a phone call instead of helping her 2 customers that have been in line for almost 10min with no service. Yes I’m timing….. I have ordered from them 4 times now, the food is great always fresh but they always forget something, once it was my fries,, once my okra,, and another time no gravy…..the orders or take forever ot they take forever to give you service. I give one star because food is fresh, but personal opinion, if u want fast food and a full order, don’t go here. Literally lady on her phone instead of helping customers
