This location in Terrell Texas is barely a Golden Chic restaurant. The lobby has minimal seating. The ceilings have lots of water stains. It has an old looking feeling inside. It seems they cater to mostly drive thru orders. After going inside I think I know why. I didn’t even dare try the restrooms
The food was ok. The portions are like most restaurants these days. Smaller but cost more. I always get take out but I like to go inside to order. Don’t go inside here. The employees do a very good job of preparing and getting your order out quickly. If you have a choice go to Wendy’s next door or go down the street to Sonic or schloskys.

If there was a negative rating option, this store would get it. Completely unprofessional. I specifically asked for fresh chicken. What did I get? Chicken that looked 3 days old. It’s happens. But when the employees try to convince you that the extremely dry chicken you are seeing is good., disrespectful, but It happens. But when the manager (photo attached) argues with you with hate in his eyes, and try to convince you that the dry chicken you are seeing, is only your illusion…why? Getting a refund was like pulling teeth as the manager argued with me the whole time. This was an easy fix that turned ugly for no reason except hate. This may be a good social media lesson on how to treat customers.

Friendly staff and food is good& hot and l’m glad it’s nearby. I enjoy seeing some of my students at work. One more thing we need a senior citizen day with half price. And the manager is also friendly too with a nice warm smile.Thanks for the ice.

Made an online order for 915pm at 850pm. I arrived at 915pm and my order wasn’t ready until 930pm. Why even have an online option and choose a specific pick up time if you don’t make the order until I arrive. Way to waste peoples time.

I never give out 1 star reviews, since it’s unfair to the company. I ordered a chicken sandwich and the cheese wasn’t melted. The food was almost cold. We did wait a long time in the drive-thru when there wasn’t any cars. I also got the spicy tenders. Zing Sauce makes it better but meal also was a bit cold too. Golden Chick is known for their gravy. I didn’t get any but got some type of thousand island sauce to dip it with. It’s a bummer that I didn’t get a good meal. I won’t be coming back. I just stopped at Terrell for a short stop.

I eat golden chick often but my first time trying this location was not the best. The service was ok I guess but they dont seem to be happy working here. Ive ordered wicked wings from here through uber once, drove in the drive thru 2/3 times & Ive sat and ate once but they are always stale. Like EVERYTIME!!! Over cooked just nasty!! Definitely wouldn’t recommend this location.

The staff is always friendly, but they don’t have enough workers because it takes forever to get waited on and forever to get your food. I was served burned okra and my sweet tea tasted off, just a weird taste almost tasted dirty. They did include the fork for my mashed potatoes, but no napkins at all.

Omg, this was my first time eating here and let me tell you, the chicken was PHENOMENAL. It was perfectly cooked, seasoned, crispy and juicy. Plus, the rolls were soft and doughy, but not too doughy. The manager Faz came out and asked how the food was and was warm and welcoming. I will definitely be a continuing customer, Thank you.
P.S. The restaurant was very clean and nice and cool itside!
