I went to this Golden Chick because I hadn’t been in a while. I ordered the fish and shrimp combo. As you can see the portions were very small. I was very disappointed with them. A waste of $13. I’ll fry my own fish from now on. Don’t waste your money.

This location is the WORSE! They close the lobby early often, leaving those of us that place an online order to have to wait in the drive thru line for 20-30 mins to grab my food. Then when I get to the window the drive thru attendant be rude as hell like THEY the ones inconvenienced. WHY am I in a drive thru line for 20 mins for an order I already placed and paid for online? WHY is it taking 20-30 mins to work your drive thru line? WHY is the lobby area being closed and locked before time? Like there is so many things wrong with this location. Sadly, we now have to drive out of our way to a different location if we want Golden Chick, a mess!

We love Golden Chick. It’s Chicken right? BUT this experience in Ovilla TX was disappointing. We waited in the drive-thru for over 15 minutes only to be told they are out of WINGS, and the cashier blew it off like “how dare you be disappointed!” She even ignored us when i asked if there was a substitute and she made me repeat my order 3 times.

Been to these place a lot lately and I can say that the best part is the service. The lady who I assume is a manager is consistently nice and friendly with every single customer. Had an issue one day and the lady went resolved the problem with out any faces issues or excuses. The place is always clean and food is fast and hot. If I had to nit-pick it’s that they don’t accept NFC payments.

This location is great! Friendly and efficient staff, hot food, and a very clean eating area and clean bathrooms. The dining room also has a very large screen with 4 different channels running on it (split into 4 squares).

Chicken and Catfish both are Delicious and fresh!! Especially love how grease level is super low – not like other places where it soaks through the box. Excellent service and they inform you estimate waiting time on the catfish.
