Good chicken and fries at the Golden Chick! Traveling for work and never heard of Golden Chick. They got me with the name. Friendly staff recommended the tenders, which were very good. The fries were crispy and delicious. The green beans were good, but not great. Plenty of food and the chicken was good quality. Order took a while, but other than that good experience.

Great food, great friendly staff! Our order was ready before we even sat down to our table. Chicken was hot, tasty, crispy outside & moist inside. Good mashed potatoes with gravy, and dinner roll. Our only complaint was that the restaurant was pretty cool inside, so be sure to bring a jacket, that’s not a bad thing, though, when it’s hot outside

My boyfriend came through to make a drive thru order and ended up waiting for 10 minutes for some to take an order. No one answered him so he left. He went back to try and order again and ended up having to go inside. When the order was brought home he realized they forgot the drink and forgot to give half the food he ordered. Do better or all together close.

New review: I can no longer give 5 stars or recommend this place. It’s a shame that the Cushing location is possibly giving all Golden Chicks a bad name. They are not all like this. Please give another location a second chance. I think they probably were not offering enough pay so they can’t keep good employees. It’s sad how fast the place went downhill. We can’t even eat there anymore.
Old review: We have been here twice (to go) & both times were wonderful! I’m so glad they opened this location in Cushing! This has always been one of our favorite places. First of all, the chicken has a wonderful crispy, flaky, flavorful batter! Try getting the spicy if you want a little kick or more flavor. You can also buy the zing seasoning on the side. We use it at home all the time! The fries…. Yum!!!! Idk what they batter them in but they are perfect. They taste SO good, they don’t even need a sauce. The rolls are my favorite though…. So soft and sweet, yeast rolls. They don’t need butter or honey or anything!! So good. But MOST IMPORTANTLY, get the zing sauce! It is garlicky and so flavorful … Better than Raising Cane’s (which I used to make at home cuz I loved it so much) & any other chicken dipping sauce!! If you think this chicken is lacking flavor, its because you ordered wrong! Please keep in mind, this business is new! They are still training employees & working out kinks, so please have patience with the new employees.

It’s usually pretty good but tonight was bad. Not the food but the service because when I pulled up to the drive thru nobody was there so I waited at the monitor for someone to say something for a minute before saying hello. Nothing. Couple minutes same thing said hello and got nothing. I said hello one more time and waited again and only as I was pulling off and rolling up my windows did they say something. We live halfway between Guthrie and Cushing. Although both Chick’s are owned by the same people we will eat Guthrie. The chicken here overcooked. Almost burned. Okra old and overdone.

the lady in the drive thru with blonde hair and glasses was extremely rude. told my husband do not ask me to get golden chick again. if roles were reversed and i was the one in the window and you were the one in the car id get shamed because i am a younger person and your my “elder” do better. i did a mobile order and stated that the app is stupid when it didnt save my selection for the up charge for the larger drink. i didnt have an attitude i just made a statement to which she jumped down my throat
