I eat here frequently. Normally it’s a decent experience and the food is ok. Today I stopped by after work, went through the drive through to order, and when I got home found my chicken was hardly breaded, nor cooked. Not the first time I have had uncooked chicken from them. Unfortunately, I was on a time crunch and couldn’t go back. I will be bringing the food with me tomorrow along with the receipt to show them. Might even buy the cook a thermometer.

I was well into my 10 hr. drive, hunger was setting in. Not just anything would do, it had to be Golden Chick. I drove for miles before I found this one. It was well worth the wait. This is a great place to stop off. There’s a convenience store with gas. I was greeted by a friendly hello. The lady behind the counter made some great suggestions. I purchased the 3 pc. chicken strips and fries. Since I didn’t order a drink, she told me that I could substitute that for another item and where I could find everything. Imagine that! My meal was tasty and filling. Everything was clean and well organized. I wish that I could remember the sweet lady that waited on me. It was a long trip by myself and I appreciate the kindness that she extended to me.

We live less than a mile away from this Golden Chick so we frequent here A LOT! The food is always great and the staff are always super friendly! Anytime we have family come in town we always recommend this place. Like I said, we frequent a lot, so we’ll definitely be back!

I don’t live in Guthrie, but I usually stop here whenever I’m passing through. I’ve probably been here around 30 times over the last five years, and the food has been perfect every single time. Even when they’re slammed, they still get orders out fast, which honestly impresses me. Plus, Golden Chick is just flat-out delicious. If you’ve never been, the Spicy Tenders are an easy first choice.

The chicken has no flavor…paper probably has more taste. The dirty rice mimics Thanksgiving stuffing and the green beans are over cooked. The rolls can be used for soft ball practice and the Mac is sticky and bland.

Avoid. I ordered 4 piece tender. Was told I don’t get a roll or ranch dipping sauce. They don’t care what the sign says. They are going to give you whatever they think you should have, not what you ordered
