Walked in at 8pm on a Saturday, store closes at 11pm. We were the only customers and after taking my order they were conveniently out of chicken thighs. The rolls in the warmer were shriveled up and likely made that morning. The only food that was cooked was sitting in a warmer. The areas you would think the food would be, was completely empty. The restaurant looked like it was cleaned up and ready to be closed. Don’t understand why they are open until 11pm if they truly shut down at 8pm or earlier. The location in Hattiesburg is amazing!! I definitely suggest passing this location up if you are heading to Hattiesburg anyway.
***We ended up getting a refund and took our business elsewhere. The staff was not trained on refunds to debit cards, so we had to wait while the manager was called to get our money back.

First time having golden chick. They have a large menu with great combo deals and sides. Food came out fast. I got three chicken tenders with their famous sauce with a side of mac & cheese and fries which also came with a roll. I think my only complaint for this fast food chain compared to other chicken spots is the size of the chicken tenders. The sauce and the batter of the chicken tenders and fries were pretty good. Everything was pretty good. I’ll come back

Stopped in around 7pm on a Monday, wanting to try Golden Chick for the first time. Only customer in the building and no one in the drive thru. No employee was in sight. Ordered using kiosk and still waited forever. Extremely small portions for the price. The food was the only thing good. Can’t recommend this particular location. Pictured is my $7 -2 tender with gravy, tenders are roughly 3inches

I’ve been here several times because let’s face it there’s nothing to choose from in Purvis. Literally every time I go my order is either wrong, I get a bag of cold dried up okra or I’m charged really wrong. I ordered a large sweet tea last week and was charged for a gallon and didn’t realize until I left. It’s always something. I went there this morning, and the lady at the drive thru that took my order and gave me my food was SO RUDE!!!!!!!! I’ve never in my life. It was like I was irritating her to be there and causing her to have to work. She didn’t say thank you nothing just slammed the window. This place is horrible!!!

Every time we come to this one lately there is always an issue. They either forget things or are rude to us. This time my husband stopped on his way home to order tenders in the drive thru and was told you can not order only tenders in the drive thru that he would have to come in for that. Makes absolutely no sense and I do believe this will be our last time trying to eat here.

This was my third visit here, and my last. The chicken strip are half the size they should be, and I received 18 fries, half of which, were pieces of fries. Totally unacceptable, portion-wise, especially for the price I paid, $11.33!! This was,perhaps, worth $7-$8……and that’s being kind. The young people here, either aren’t well-trained, or they aren’t intelligent enought to press buttons, or they just plain don’t care. My first experience here, ended with me driving off, angry, because the person onbthe speaker couldn’t understand simple English, and kept contradicting me, when I knew quite well, what I was trying to convey.
The food tastes ok, but isn’t impressive, in any positive way. Combined with the lack of care, shared by employees, and the high price, for barely, mediocre food, adds up to a bad experience. They need some serious help here, but I don’t think anyone cares enough to bother

Always dirty, rude staff, on top of them never having anything made! I do not recommend! You’d be better off saving your money because everything is priced out the window!

Went there at night, they were completely out of all chicken but fried legs and thighs. For a place that focuses on all things chicken, we were severely disappointed they didn’t have anything that we came there for. It was easier for the employee to tell me what they did have than what they didn’t. Not a great first experience at Golden Chick on Purvis, MS.

The 3 times I’ve tried to go there had a similar experience, I got no response at the drive through, so I decided to go in. One employee trying to do everything, another person eventually showed up. No concern for doing work. My food was cold and I didn’t get it all. Didn’t get my rolls or my additional side i ordered. My fault for hoping it would be better, but never again.
