Best buffet I have ever been in my entire life. Hands Down best. I wish I was exageration. Food was fresh and food selection amazing and was super delicious. I was extremely surprised how good. Now we drive out that way just to go there hahahha

Walked in and wow! Very nice setup! Greeted right away and seated. Good selection of food available. Buffet islands,pho, a dessert bar,ice cream section and a sushi bar! Price wasnt bad either! Great service by our waitress too! Definitely recommend and hope they stay for a long time!

Golden Buffet review time! I went there tonight for dinner with my mom and sister since it was my sister’s birthday and we were curious how much has been changed since the dynasty days. The wait time was a little rough since the fresh opening crowd still hasn’t died down yet and they significantly cut down on seating (even less booths, and the tables they do have are indeed crowded close together, walkways don’t have enough room for two-way traffic flow). There’s also quite the cold draft if you’re seated near the entrance, but most dining places in valpo don’t heat well anyways so it’s to be expected. The staff we interacted with were all super nice, they even played a happy birthday song and sang to my sister and brought her a plate with a cute little cake stack with a candle and cookie! Seems like most the dynasty staff has indeed moved on, Tracy was the only one we recognized. It was $18.99 a person since it’s the all day dinner special they do on Saturday/Sunday/Holidays, which was fine. Food was all very good, I attached pictures of my mom and sisters plates since I forgot to take a picture of mine. The meat and fish especially were all notably well cooked, chicken and broccoli and baked salmon had to be my favorite. It’s clear the place was indeed gutted and had a massive remodel, which looks great. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved it. Went at 11 am on Chinese New Year all the food was fresh, hot and tasty! Lots of choices, the fruit was fresh and sweet too. The restaurant was clean and lots of tables the decor was nice and the staff were friendly and cleared the tables quickly. The only problem was I ate too much! Lol

Lots of varieties here! Some food was a little spicy but everything was hot and fresh. Something for all ages to enjoy. Had a great family dinner night here. It is priced very fair we could afford to take the whole family so we will definitely go again and again!
