My family and I visit this restaurant quite frequently. We love the food and it is affordable. The staff is amazing and the owner is always so friendly. We order the family size so we have lots for leftovers. The chicken eggrolls are so crispy and delicious. We love the sweet-and-sour chicken with the sauce on the side, the lemon chicken with the sauce on the side and my husband get some of the spiciest dishes he can get his hands on! Good food, good service, good deal!

Bit of a hidden gem in Bellevue. The menu is your standard American Chinese restaurant but they really shine with their quality and ingredients. We had the dumplings, hot and sour soup, and seafood delight. The dumplings they deep fried so that they were crispy on the outside and soft inside. The hot and sour soup is some of the best I’ve ever had! Thick, full of ingredients. In the seafood delight, they use full deep sea scallops, not the bay scallops you usually see. The dish was well balanced, they didn’t try to fill you up with fried rice, the rice was a side and the seafood delight was the star of the dish. Fairly plane looking inside and out, so you’re really going to go for the food and you might not assume it would be as good as it is just from a look at the building. Worth the trip. I’m going to have cravings for that hot and sour soup!

I’ve been going to Golden Bowl / house of Hunan as Michael and Rose have owned both for years. Recently back in town I ordered from here. Worst food ever. Lo and behold I found out Michael is no longer the owner. Food is horrible and will never return. Gross and not even enable. Sad so see it go down hill. Was my favorite place to eat. Place smelled like sewage too.

Omg- this is the BEST CHINESE FOOD in Bellevue and I am craving it so bad!
They have fantastic yum yum chicken, the eggrolls and crab rangoons are on point. The vegetables are crisp and delicious with each different dish.
The employees are so friendly! You can definitely tell their a close knit group and the family vibe is there for all to feel. I can’t say enough about this treasure of a restaurant!

So, Golden Bowl delivered. Went off the recommendation of our own Omaha Fattie, Danell, and it did not disappoint. My husband and I absolutely loved the recommendations and the freshness and spice level were perfect! The place was clean and John, the FOH and co-owner was eager to please and all around nice, genuine guy!
Highly recommend the off menu item, Michael’s Chicken if you like a little heat, tender, flavorful chicken and fresh veggies! Then, the fried rice is the combination fried rice, add Chinese bbq pork, extra egg and spice level 4…it was SO good! My husband and really loved the Happy Family and said it was cooked perfectly. Their portions are great for what you pay. The prices to us are cheap. We will definitely be back!!!! Even if I have to drive 45 mins to get it!

I got there at 1130 and there was only one customer there..which was kinda concerning. It does seem they have a lot of take out customers though. The food was piping hot and served relatively quick. The waitress was very nice and helpful. It looks like they recently moved south from the building north of it.

First of all- The young man who brought my “to go” order out was awesome!!
The crab Rangoons were very good!
Then it went downhill fast!
Kung Pao chicken- pretty awful. It lacked the spiciness expected & the sauce lacked taste & had a vinegar like sourness to it- no heat at all.
Cashew chicken unfortunately was not good either. The sauce resembled ketchup, both in looks & taste, and the dish was lacking the spices one expects in Chinese cuisine.
