A beautiful clean restaurant with delicious food! We bought four different entrees and ate family style. Everything was SO GOOD! We got griot, chicken, fried patties, and chicken wings. All divine and even the picky eaters loved it! The sides were so good. A lovely mac and cheese, fried plantains, and beans and rice. It had a great chill vibe and the waiter was awesome.

I saw that this was a Caribbean restaurant, but to my surprise and delight, it is specifically a Haitian restaurant! I’ve lived in many cities and it’s so hard to find Haitian food. But the best part, is that it’s authentic and GOOD Haitian food!!
It’s family run so you can taste the love and care they put into the food. I ordered a side of fried plantain and then I saw someone peeling and cutting a new one! It doesn’t get fresher than that.
The juices are fresh and portions are generous! Get the tout ladanl (all the juices)!

They have earned their high reviews. We had the Legumes special with pork and chicken and a side of fried plantain with a spicy cabbage slaw. Wow! And you have to ask about the family history of opening an authentic Haitian restaurant in Provo.

I happened upon this restaurant quite by accident and I’m so glad I did! The food was delicious, the portions were hearty, it was a good value for the price. The host/owner was warm and friendly. The environment was fresh and inviting. I immediately wanted to tell friends about this place they must try in Provo! Go check it out!

Found a gold mine! I had never tried Haitian food before and I was pleasantly surprised! They are very friendly and explained everything on the menu. We got Passion Fruit and a Soursop drink with chicken with rice and beans. Very delicious! Such amazing hospitality combined with amazing food! My new favorite!

Excellent food! Authentic taste – owners and staff or from Haiti. It took a little long to come out but that’s because they make it all fresh. Pricing is good for what you get. Portion sizes are good. One entree with a side of rice would be enough for 2 people. Plantain was perfect! Soursop was really good. Staff were really accommodating and very friendly!

Place is an absolute vibe. The food is incredible, haitian food is full of flavor but this is over the top. Service was amazing at well. The juices were on point, just like in Haiti. Chicken and Griot are delicious, can’t wait to come back!!!! Thank you

Simply wonderful. We have eaten at the finest restaurants in Latin America and the Caribbean – the food at Golden Bees was the best we have ever had. Authentic. Beyond flavorful. And the service? Just incredible. Who would have thought to get great Haitian food in America, you have to go to Provo, Utah? I had the griot and the wife had red snapper. Both were wonderful but most surprising were the side dishes. I had the corn meal (akin to grits except much deeper flavor) and loved it. My wife ordered (boring) white rice but it came with a side of black bean sauce that took the rice to a completely different level! If you are ever in Provo, do yourself a favor and eat at Golden Bees. Again, it is simply wonderful.

You’ve got to try the SourSop! Delicious! I had a few of the patties, smoke herring and beef, both excellent and filling. The spicy cabbage salad is tasty! The service is fast and attentive and very friendly. Really enjoyed my lunch.
