Was just passing thru checking out the huge (and supposedly rude) music store across the street and Golden Bamboo honestly looked too run down on the exterior to fit my appetite for high quality ingredients and a sterile environment/kitchen (I am a germaphobe and automatically imagine most restaurants are way beyond just dirty). But I was hungry so I walked in to see if it looked clean. It looked extremely clean with white marble wall panels and a painted ceiling that looked very clean as well, especially in the sunlight, and it felt very safe for a germaphobe, although lacking in decor. Everything looked cleaner than an operating room so I ordered the kung pao chicken dinner and it perhaps had a bit of dark meat (which is too gamey for me but I forgot to specifically ask for white meat). But overall it was excellent! The quality was very good. It came in a nice container to go and it was not a large portion but I hate leftover Chinese food anyway so I’ve always disliked Chinese restaurants that try to make up for lack of quality by just giving you more of the lamer stuff. The egg roll was very good and all the seasoning and ingredients in the Kung Pao just seemed absolutely perfect and real. And the fried rice was surprisingly good. And the baby corns are/ an incredibly wild ride flavor-wise. Never experienced anything quite like it.

We came in this place just looking around and boy did we find a hidden gem. The food came out hot and delicious. Is nice big portions. We got the lunch size portion and it was more than we can eat. Great food at a great price wonderful atmosphere and a wonderful white staff. If you’re ever in Arkansas City you need to visit this place it is definitely a must! We were visiting from Texas and let me tell you the food there was better than our normal Chinese restaurant in Texas. When we travel back we will definitely be back to this place. By the way the restaurant was clean the restrooms were immaculate!

Best Chinese food around, and excellent value for the cost. Very clean facilities, and kind, attentive people running it.
They went out of their way to explain some of their menu items to people, and it was very helpful.
The portions are huge, and even someone with a healthy appetite (like myself) can often split them into 2 or more meals and have another great meal later as well.
Fried Rices, Beef and Broccoli, and Lo Meins are some of the best so far, as well as their Mei Fun.
Their sugared doughnuts are wonderful too.
I have a sensitive digestive system and some food allergies, but after 6 meals from them I have had no problems at all, so I find them quite exceptional!
No other Chinese food in the area can compare.
