The Golden Bamboo is a return to deliciousness! The food was hearty, appealing and tastes amazing. When we went I ordered Peanut Chicken and it provided delight not just freshly served at the restaurant but as work lunch leftovers for a couple of days! The General Tsos was richly yet somehow also delicately flavourful and I’d say it’s the best recipe for General Tsos that I’ve sampled anywhere I’ve eaten this dish in New England!

Decided to take a drive for our 44th wedding anniversary and after 2 hours found ourselves at this lovely restaurant. Very very good food, with a large variety to choose from. The accompanying sauces were off the chart fantastic. We had the red bean and mango ice creams for dessert and they.were amazing. It looks like a family restaurant because there was a mother and son deshelling edamame at one of the tables. Would definitely go there again if we were in the area.

Ain’t bad for the price, came out to be about 50 for 3 entrees. But the service was definitely slow on getting us just water even though there were only about 3 tables aside from us. Food didn’t take long to get and wasn’t anything special. Had enough flavor but nothing like some of the other Chinese restaurants in Boston. Similar to a panda express, affordable and decent but nothing to write home about.

So happy the original owners are back! The friendly service we all missed, and the food is as good or better than ever. Best egg drop soup I’ve ever had. Steamed dumplings with their oyster sauce is a must-have. Beef broccoli, pad Thai, red curry… too many favorites to list.

The restaurant is in the former Meng’s Pan Asian location, but is not riddled with the same quality and safety issues folks may remember from Meng’s.
There is nothing plenty of comfortable seating inside, with delivery and takeout available. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the kitchen is willing to accommodate special requests and substitutions. Golden Bamboo is a solid local Chinese option in North Adams.

We were heading through North Adams mass and looking for a place to eat and seen this restaurant on Google so we gave it a try. The atmosphere was nice and our waitress was very welcoming. We ordered our food and we received it fast and hot. My daughter got a Boba tea she loved it!!! Or app was crab rangoon my daughter ordered Tuna Poke Bowl and I got beef Pad Thai. if your in North Adams mass give this place a try.

Delivery Was fast the food was fantastic. Definitely could tell there wasn’t as much MSG in it. It lasted for a good two days. It was hot. The eggrolls were really delicious and crispy. We got crab Rangoon’s. That were delicious. We got sesame chicken. Beef and broccoli, hot and sour soup and it was fantastic. Definitely an improvement from the restaurant that they had opened before this one. We got chicken on a stick. It was different more like a barbecue on the grill kind of chicken not with barbecue sauce but that’s what it taste like a chicken that you get from a grill and it was delicious. Juicy delicious Definitely will order again and recommend the restaurant
