I’ve been coming to golden bagel for years! The food has always been great but since this new ownership you can tell that the quality of the food and the bagels has definitely improved. The new owner recognized us as regulars and had the time to introduce himself and informed us about some new additions to the menu. He was able to accommodate my needs when it comes to some of my food allergies / preferences.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been coming to Golden Bagel for years and I’m so happy to see it in great hands with the new owner, Mayzan. He’s a very nice, hardworking young man and you can tell he really cares about the details and customer service. I brought my brother visiting from Chicago to try what I think are the best bagels in town and we had a great experience. Mayzan was even kind enough to give us a couple colorful bagels to take home for my brother’s kids.
Great bagels, great service. We’ll definitely be back. Don’t forget to drop something in his tip jar! WELL DESERVED! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Found my new favorite breakfast spot! The bagels are super fresh and perfectly chewy. Tried the everything bagel with cream cheese, and it was incredible. The staff is also really nice!”

Go to Gold Coast Bagel or Cheers Deli around the corner for way better service and food! Sandwiches are twice the size of here. Today will be my last visit there. I asked for the veggie sandwich to be put in a wrap instead of a bagel. I have ordered this here 3x previously. The owner was sitting down in his seat and told the clerk NO. I said why I have ordered before? You just literally put everything in the wrap instead. Then he again told her NO. Would not bother to get up or even look at me. So won’t ever be going back there and urge you not to bother as well. Go spend your money somewhere they will be nice to you and make a sandwich or a wrap the way you want it! I mean it’s $14 for a veggie wrap. You think they could fulfill your request but apparently too much to ask. Shame. Place is never busy for a reason and now I know why. They don’t appreciate their customers.

I stopped into Golden Bagel after picking up coffee next door at Starbucks because I prefer to support small businesses and thought I would grab my breakfast sandwich there instead.
Unfortunately, the experience was extremely uncomfortable and concerning.
The employee preparing my sandwich was sick. She was coughing while making food. After I received my order and sat down to eat, I became even more alarmed. The same employee went into the restroom and was violently ill. It genuinely sounded like she was struggling to function. On my way out, I asked the staff at the counter to please check on her, and they confirmed she was not feeling well.
At that point, I could not stop thinking about the fact that someone who was clearly ill was handling food for customers.
I am the primary caretaker for my father who has serious immune and autoimmune conditions, and I now have to worry about possible exposure because of this visit. No customer should be put in that position. Basic food safety and common sense require that sick employees not be preparing food.
To make matters worse, my bagel was barely lukewarm and certainly not “golden.”
I wanted to support a local business, but this experience was unsettling and unacceptable. I will not be returning.

Under new management, the gentlemen was nice. But I watched the girl making my food take out her phone and use cell phone then continue to make my food in the same gloves. SO GROSS. Obviously no basic food handling knowledge. I don’t recommend.

Very great spot we walk to from our home it’s only about a 15 minute walk.
The wait can get kind of long we waited 20 mins for our two bagels but it was Saturday morning so understandable.

I been coming to this bagel shop for years and its always been my favorite spot when it comes to bagels but it had its things when it came to customer service and management i was skeptical when i noticed the change in management but i can say that i am very pleased so far it looks like they are trying to fix everything that was wrong with the previous management bagels are still the best and they added donuts which my daughter loves so overall a great spot to get breakfast
