5 star experience! Waited in line for 3 hours and the food was definitely worth the wait.

The staff was welcoming and friendly and the place had some lawn chairs for customers to use, if needed.

Everything was sold a la carte, by the pound (1/2 & 1/4 as well) Obviously the star of the show is the brisket, but the ribs and sausage are up there as well. I also HIGHLY recommend the Bread Pudding dessert.

Overall, if you are a foodie or just a fan of Texas BBQ, you will not be disappointed. There is a reason Goldee’s remains a top 3 bbq joint in the entire state.

Was amazing. We came down from Canada to see family and saw videos about the place, so we had to come try it.

We arrived 1 hour before opening, we were about 30th in line. After the place opened it took about another 30 minutes to get our food.

We got brisket, pork ribs, garlic sausage, pork belly, mac & cheese, southern pork hash, and coleslaw. We went to a couple BBQ places this week; by far Goldee’s meat was 1st place. Smokey and flavorful; didn’t even try the sauce with it, no need for it. Sides; kids and wife loved the Mac & cheese. Coleslaw and has were also a hit, but my favorite was the hash. Finished it off with banana pudding and bread puddings.

It was well worth the 1400 mile road trip. Might even go so far as to saw it is a better reason to come to Texas that seeing my family.

I look forward to my next visit.

Came all the way from Dallas to try it out. We came too late and they only had brisket. Really good. Their potato salad was great. Banana pudding also delicious. Service was great, everyone super friendly. Will definitely come back to try other cuts.

Goldee’s has been on the list for almost a year now and we finally got here. We arrived at about 8:00 am on a Saturday morning and there was about 50 people in line. Be prepared to wait. They have a pile of old chairs that customers can use, so if you don’t bring your own, there is that.
Let’s get to the food. It is the real deal. My son and I ordered a beef rib, 4 pork spare ribs, a pound of brisket, and a jalapeño cheddar sausage link. For sides, we ordered cheesy grits, beans, and potato salad.
Outstanding! I thought the star of the show was the pork spare ribs … fall off the bone, but with texture and the flavor popped. There was hint of cumin and it was salty and sweet. Delicious!
I prefer the fat rendered out of my smoked meats as opposed to the wet fat. My son is the opposite. So, we were in heaven. Goldees gives you brisket that is half wet and half dry. I loved the dry end and my son loved the wet end.
As for the sides … the grits were tasty, and the beans were yummy. I dont eat potato salad, but my son said it was good.
We also had the bread pudding and the banana pudding. Both were delicious.
Goldee’s is well worth the wait!!!

We’ve been on the hunt for some fantastic BBQ and our trip up to the Ft. Worth area presented the perfect opportunity! This place was fantastic! Some friends told us about it and we added it to the “must do” list for the trip. We tried the brisket, pork ribs, turkey, mac n’ cheese, kale slaw, potato salad, and bread pudding. Definitely recommend!

A must stop destination!
Would highly recommend arriving early as the line will astound! Would even suggest pack a chair. But, It is very much worth the wait. We had a party of 9 and ordered a mix of items. Order at the counter and self seating. The brisket was a highlight! But was equally impressed with the ribs, smoked turkey, sausages…. make sure to get mix of the sides. I enjoyed it so much I regularly ship the seasonings back here in Pennsylvania to keep my pantry stocked with both the brisket and all purpose seasonings.

worth the wait for sure. We arrived at 0920 and were sitting down with our food at 1220. So a three hour wait. if you’re planning on using the lawn chairs they have out front, be mindful of any rain that occurred the day before… our meal was incredible. Service was top notch. I’ll definitely return to try some of their other offerings!! Honestly best banana pudding and bread pudding I’ve ever had!! All the meats were so tender and moist. Show-stopping BBQ

Everything on the menu is beyond great with the pork belly and beef ribs being sublime. The customer service was outstanding from the moment you step in the door until you are ready to roll out with your left overs.

I appreciated the availability of lawn chairs to borrow for the wait in line. I arrived at 9:15 am on a Saturday and sat down with my food around 12:15 pm. There were approximately 60 people in line ahead of me if that helps anyone gauge the wait time.

I get it now. I grew up eating BBQ and such but this is insane. So damn good. Every single staff member was on point and really give a damn about their workplace and product. Amazing experience for us. Also I got to say hello to Zain… the creator owner of Sabar BBQ. You couldn’t find a nicer fella. He and all the other Americans who are honoring Texas BBQ with their interpretation are true Americans. They remind us of who we all are in this journey. Goldees has always offered a home to diverse backgrounds and visions. For this reason they are still the number one BBQ in Texas. Thank you for what y’all do.
