Great little burger joint.
This is a small shop at the curbside tucked in next to a movie theater. About 9 counter seats inside.
The menu is also small but they make wonderful smash burgers. The eponymous Goldburger has a great taste balance including aioli sauce and cheese. The veggie burger version is good too. And I love that they have curly fries, a personal favorite.
Soda is a tasty California made craft brand Swell. Staff were friendly.
I recommend trying this burger place.

I think this is my favorite burger in LA!! Love the California classic for the freshness. The classic sauce is delicious. I’m obsessed with the crispy patties, their buns are fluffy and tasty. The location is small and busy in Los Feliz but it has never bothered me, the burgers are too delicious for me to care!! And the CURLY FRIESSSS!!!

Definitely the crispiest smashburger I’ve had in LA. I loved everything down to the grilled onions and the perfectly cooked curly fries. The combo deal makes it a pretty affordable spot to grab a great meal in Los Feliz.

A beefy tasting smash burger with a good amount of juiciness. For smash burgers, Goldburgers delivers a hefty burger with light toppings. Most of the taste is from the good beef and cheese. The pickles highlight a small crunch and brine. Their special sauce seems like an afterthought and is overwhelmed by everything else. The California Classic burger has lettuce, and any other burger with onions will offer a slightly different profile. I think the additional sweetness and tang would better balance the burger. The curly fries are the better choice, as the standard fries are nothing special. Maybe they ought to be double-fried? There is a choice of adding pastrami, and that will certainly add more heft and substance, far better than a third patty. Value-wise, smash burgers give texture and fatty goodness. I think I continue to be a bigger fan of a nice thick juicy formed patty, especially when you have high quality beef.

Located in the heart of Los Feliz, a fun burger shop that is good, but not great. The Goldburger is what they are known for but it just didn’t do it for me. The caramelized onion was very greasy and had an oft putting taste. The whole grain mustard was good but it just had too much on it. But more importantly the burger and fries weren’t season for us. Would love to try it again but there are so many smash burger places out there

We had to try it for you. We rated 8.5/10 stars. Very juicy and tasty. Every burger does have two Pattie’s which for us was a lot. Maybe next time we will ask for one and the other on the side. Curly fries weren’t that great. Friendly staff, great vibe and good music. There is indoor and outdoor sitting. Parking is definitely a mission. Happy eating and please tip.

Stopped by for the happy hour special as a late lunch and was not disappointed. There’s inside and outside seating and the staff were prompt and efficient. The classic smashed burger was juicy and delicious, the fries were hot and fresh, and the ginger ale was great as well.

One of the best smash burgers I’ve had in a long time!! It’s literally a window right next to the theater. There’s a cool hip bookstore next to it too. Parking may be difficult, but there’s a street right next to it where I parked. (no restrictions as of 08/06/23)Good vibes, gold burgers, and delicious curly fries. Tiny little store, not a lot of seats inside, but they have chairs right outside. I also tried the Swell Pomegranate soda, it was really good, but I personally don’t drink soda. AND, clean restroom.
