I have been wanting to try this place ever since it opened. Goldbergs did not disappoint and it is definitely a must try. I got their triple smash burger, and it was cooked to perfection. The burger was very flavorful and very crispy. The fries were cooked to perfection and we’re also seasoned perfectly. Their fries are offered in one size, but there is a decent amount. The garlic aïoli that comes on the burger really compliments, the whole burger, and elevate it to a whole new level. For anyone that’s never had a Smashburger before it’s very different than a traditional burger and I would recommend to start here with a triple burger and fries.

5 stars.
I ordered two burger combos to go. Goldburger with curly fries and spicy ranch. California Classic with fries and spicy ranch.
Everything looked fresh. Burgers were stacked right. Fries were hot and crisp. Spicy ranch had real flavor. Drinks were sealed and packed clean.
The space stood out. Clean counters. Simple layout. Comfortable seating. Bright and welcoming.
Customer service impressed me. Friendly. Fast. Professional. Order was correct.
Pricing felt fair for quality and portions. Packaging held up. Nothing leaked. Food traveled well.
This spot delivers. I will be back. Easy recommendation.

Ahh the successor to the good ol’ Frosty Queen. While it doesn’t replace the nostalgia of the Queen, it more makes it up with pretty darn good smash burger. The Goldburger gets it right with the most important component of a burger which is the patty. It had the right amount of saltiness, savoriness, and crispiness that makes for a tasty smash burger. Sure, it’s a bit pricey and the presentation is lacking, but in the end, it tasted darn good.
Same goes with the fries. That is a must have if you’re ordering from Goldburger!

This was a Great place when it was Queen Bee. Now the burgers are small. I mean very small and the curly fries… are good, nothing special. They do come in an intelligent bag. I got the Goldburger, two small patties with cheese and chopped onion ON A BUN THE SIZE OF THE McDonald $1.50 burger. (See photos) I wanted onion rings, they don’t have them, so my tiny burger and fries cost…. Ready $18.66 No drink. This was not an adequate meal. The entire neighborhood is talking about how disappointed they are and wish it never changed ownership. I come from in the Santa Susanna pass, no way I’ll drive that far for what they’re giving now. I first experienced Queen Bee because my friends live in the hood, they warned me how bad it has become, but, I liked Queen Bee so much, I had to see for myself. OWNER WISE UP OR YOU WILL FAIL!! If you charge an arm and a leg I will pay it, but it must be for an arm and a leg, not 1/3 of that. It better be really good, not a kids meal. Goldburger is nothing like it was when it was Queen Bee, you got a large double burger with cheese loaded with lettuce onion tomato and pickles. Accompanied by a full bag of onion rings. All for much less. If you’re gonna make me pay, you better make me happy. I’m happy to pay but damn it I want to be really impressed for that much money! My first and last Goldburger, I’m told the rest of the menu is commiserate with the Goldburger experience. Queen bee was famously a drive-through. I have no idea what it’s like to try to sit inside. The Queen Bee soft serve ice cream cones were fabulous!! Now an ice cream cone is $6/7 Are you kidding me, I’ll never know if their good or not!

I stopped by Goldburger today and was impressed with how clean and welcoming the place looked. The staff was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly, which I appreciated. Prices are a little on the higher end ($12 for a burger, $5 for fries, $5 for a drink), so it really depends on your budget if you find it worth it.
The burger itself had good flavor but was definitely on the greasy side. My fries came out cold at first, but when I politely asked for fresh ones, the staff replaced them right away without hesitation, which shows they care about customer satisfaction. Overall, the customer service was excellent!

Fantastic smash burger place. I liked the original gold burger which is Oklahoma style, as well as California style that comes with chopped onions and shredded lattice. Perfect crust and bold flavor hits the right spot.

Don’t get me wrong the workers were really nice and attentive. While the atmosphere was heavily clean and vibrant. However, I took my boyfriend to try it because he was curious about the food and his burger ended up being heavily undercooked on the inside.

We love Gold Burger. I got the kids cheeseburger and it was the perfect size for me. I’m very picky with burgers and usually only eat In-N-Out or smash-style burgers because I don’t like a thick, beefy taste. This one was delicious—thin, flavorful, and exactly how I like my burgers (I asked for it well done).
My husband always gets the regular Gold Burger and has loved it every time. He’s also had the Reuben sandwich before and really enjoyed it. The curly fries are really good too.
They have a drive-thru, which is super convenient, and the food is fast and fresh. So happy we have a great local smash-style burger spot!

One of the best hamburgers in Los Angeles has finally landed in Granada Hills. The founder grew up in the San Fernando Valley, so it feels right that he brought Goldburger back home.
Goldburger has made countless “best burger” lists, with some even calling it the #1 burger in LA. What began as an Instagram account documenting his burger obsession turned into pop-ups, then permanent locations in Highland Park, Los Feliz, and now Granada Hills.
Yes, the burgers are a little pricier, but the quality makes up for it—locally sourced, grass-fed beef with incredible flavor. I had the signature Goldburger: double smashed patties with crispy edges, American cheese, grilled onions, pickles, and garlic-mustard aioli on a soft bun. Every bite had the perfect balance of flavors and textures.
I wanted to try the soft serve, but it wasn’t available tonight. Even so, with HiHo Cheeseburger in Studio City, Bill’s Burgers in Van Nuys, and now Goldburger in Granada Hills, the Valley is spoiled with amazing burger options.
This burger is absolutely better than In-N-Out or The Habit. Yes, I said it.
