Legit the BEST bagel I have had in a long time. Nothing beats a FRESH bagel with cream cheese. I’d recommend everyone try Goldberg’s Bagels in Silver Spring. It’s popular on Sunday mornings, yet service is fast! 15/10!

I’m so disappointed. I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and have loved their nova lox bagel dearly. The ingredients are quality but they have progressively put less and less salmon on their bagels of the years to the point where today I got the tiniest piece of salmon I’ve ever seen in a bagel. I couldn’t even taste the salmon. Save your 13 dollars go somewhere else.

The wraps are just as delicious as the bagels. Highly worthwhile stop!

Avoid – I went there a couple of days ago to buy bagels. When I got in my car and looked in the bag, half of them were baked very unevenly – almost burnt on the bottom and raw on top. When they’re undercooked the texture is very unpleasant – like eating bread dough. I went back in to ask them to replace the badly baked bagels. The old guy at the counter looked at the bagels and said they were fine and he would not replace them. I will not go back – for the cost of 6 bagels, Goldbergs has lost a customer. What a terrible way to run a business.

FYI: this is a fully vegetarian restaurant! This dainty bagel shop delivers on the food and quality. Might be a bit on the pricier side, but definitely worth after a bite. I ordered a California Omelette on a toasted Everything bagel with scallion cream cheese on the side. It was delicious. Even with the ingredients being a bit ambitious, it all stayed inside the bagel. Would come here again!

Went in for a quick bagel on the way to work. Have been here a few times and it’s usually ok, service always was lacking. Ordered a bagel with cream cheese and when I opened it up at my desk it is covered in some unknown pink substance. When I ordered the man at the front was rude and I felt like I was inconveniencing him. I recommend going elsewhere especially when paying over 6 dollars for a bagel I’d at least expect clean kitchen and not some nasty pink stuff. Had to throw it out because I couldn’t get an answer on what it was. I will not be going back.

Black people are not welcomed here. I walked in and everyone one looked and stared with weird looks as if I was not suppose to be there. When I went to order, what I believe to be the owner was very rude. I can tell it pained him to take my order. Well anyways, he was telling me about the default cheese they use on their sandwiches and I didn’t hear him. So he proceeds to explain what default means like I’m stupid. As if I do not know what default means. Internally, I was very uncomfortable and upset but I remained polite. Bottom line, black people don’t spend your money here.

I’m not Jewish, but I really admire Goldberg’s Deli’s dedication to maintaining a fully kosher environment. The presence of prayer cards and a washing cup are thoughtful and respectful touches that make the space feel intentional and welcoming. Since it’s a dairy restaurant, I appreciated that they offer vegan meat options; it’s a nice way to expand choices while staying kosher.

Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite meet expectations. I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, and unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the spot. The bagel was dense and lacked the fluffy or doughy texture I usually enjoy. The cream cheese also seemed dense and store-bought, which didn’t help. I also got an iced coffee and I did not enjoy.

The staff were friendly enough and the restaurant itself was clean, which made for a pleasant visit. However, the shopping center it’s located in wasn’t very nice, which took away a bit from the overall experience.

This place was suggested to us by a friend who claims they get their dough brought in brim NYC? I don’t know for sure if that’s true. But I do know that their bagels are fantastic!! Go early if you want a good selection because they certainly do sell out! My husband loves getting his with lox, whereas I like my everything bagel plain. Just writing about this place makes me hungry. Check it out!

A small place that is old and needs upgrading but the food and the bagels were delicious. The service was quiet and efficient. The prices were actually very reasonable.
