Reviews
Service was friendly, the atmosphere felt classic and comfortable, and the food came out quickly. Definitely a solid spot for breakfast or brunch in Fort Lauderdale, and I’ll absolutely be back to try more from the menu.
Food: Probably when of the best bagels I’ve had in a long time (try and get them out of the oven warm). Good size, not too chewy, lots of toppings, lil crisp to the outside. Cream cheese was soft with lots of flavor. Omelette was great—huge and filled with toppings. The grits were pretty good—not the best I’ve had (go to BagelMania for those), but a they were good.
Staff: Friendly and attentive (but not overly so). Both times I’ve been here —before the rush and during—always had a friendly waiter/waitress. Even the cashier was nice.
Atmosphere: Modern with an “old deli” feel (i.e. black and white photos, big deli counter, etc.). Plus… very clean.
Overall: The days of a $10 breakfast at a deli are over—unless you find out in Miami before 10a. So if you’re gonna pay, make sure it’s worth it and go to Goldberg’s.
Not only is it all your favorite Goldberg deli, but they also have the italian market A&S italian bakery.
Did i leave beaming with a bag full of fresh pulled mozzarella knots, prochutto ball, plump amazing rainbow bagels, and a dozen cookies? I may never shop anywhere else.
Interior is beautiful. Have a great brunch picking from lovely cases and a beautiful selection of savory, sweet and bready delicacies. Cant wait to order sandwiches!
Staff as always amazing but joy of coming by on day 3 made this visit extra special. Thank you for all the hard work bringing this to us.
Congratulations to this establishment. Cant wait to watch you grow into a neighborhood staple.
Your new location on Federal proves you don’t understand the basics of hand‑cut lox. The slices are too thick, leathery in parts, and full of pieces you’d expect a decent shop to discard. This isn’t artisanal — it’s lazy, cheap, and disrespectful to customers who know quality.
I moved to Florida and gave you a chance. That was a mistake. I’ll never return. Save your money — and avoid this deli if you don’t want to pay top dollar for bottom‑shelf lox.
Starting with their coffee, which tastes better than the rest of the restaurants. The various egg styles, potatoes, and bagels are always fresh and delicious.
Their soups are always hot and flavorful. Never to watery or thick. The lunch sandwiches are always juicy and piled high. The service has always been
A+++. I consider myself to be a very polite, but I admit I’m a very needy customer . And all the servers are always very accommodating . They seem to work very well together as a team. Although Wendy is my regular and favorite server. She always knows and remembers all of my quirky requests. I highly recommend you go for breakfast or lunch or both.
Finally I found a spot
The sound playlist is great – I felt I was in vacation haha French music, etc… lovely!
Staff are great!
I will come back for sure!
If you haven’t been to Goldbergs Delicatessen, you’re missing out on one of the best deli experiences in Fort Lauderdale. The food is always fresh, comforting, and packed with flavor, and the service is consistently warm and welcoming.
Pro tip: come on a Sunday and try the cabbage soup — it’s unreal. Perfectly seasoned, hearty, and tastes like it’s been simmering with love all day. And the pastrami? Hands down some of the best I’ve ever had — tender, flavorful, and piled high the way it should be.
This place gets it right every time. Classic deli done right. Easy 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
