Goldberg’s Delicatessen serves exceptional food and service

Aka, my visit to Goldberg’s Delicatessen and Bagels, Fort Lauderdale. … Great experience at Goldbergs in Ft Lauderdale | Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Stopped into Goldman’s Delicatessen on Oakland Park Blvd today and had a great experience. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and really enjoyed it — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and exactly what I was hoping for. My friend ordered the French toast and also had a side of scrambled eggs. While the French toast wasn’t his favorite, he did say the scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly — nice, fluffy, and done just right.

Service was friendly, the atmosphere felt classic and comfortable, and the food came out quickly. Definitely a solid spot for breakfast or brunch in Fort Lauderdale, and I’ll absolutely be back to try more from the menu.

Really impressed with this place.

Food: Probably when of the best bagels I’ve had in a long time (try and get them out of the oven warm). Good size, not too chewy, lots of toppings, lil crisp to the outside. Cream cheese was soft with lots of flavor. Omelette was great—huge and filled with toppings. The grits were pretty good—not the best I’ve had (go to BagelMania for those), but a they were good.

Staff: Friendly and attentive (but not overly so). Both times I’ve been here —before the rush and during—always had a friendly waiter/waitress. Even the cashier was nice.

Atmosphere: Modern with an “old deli” feel (i.e. black and white photos, big deli counter, etc.). Plus… very clean.

Overall: The days of a $10 breakfast at a deli are over—unless you find out in Miami before 10a. So if you’re gonna pay, make sure it’s worth it and go to Goldberg’s.

Staff is amazing , food is insane , and the owner Nicky is a solid guy. I had an issue , spoke to him , without question he said ask for me next time you come in, I did , shook his hand , and handled the situation with class and respect. Highly recommend going here for Italian or bakery and breakfast it’s that good that fresh and the energy and vibe Nicky creates in the atmosphere you just want to buy and eat everything. Happy holidays to the entire staff… This is how business should be operated . Starts from the top and it shows !!! The Bayview boy is the best breakfast sandwich in South Florida … IMNOG

Huge fan. Stopped in with my son excited about the new location of my favorite lunch spot.

Not only is it all your favorite Goldberg deli, but they also have the italian market A&S italian bakery.

Did i leave beaming with a bag full of fresh pulled mozzarella knots, prochutto ball, plump amazing rainbow bagels, and a dozen cookies? I may never shop anywhere else.

Interior is beautiful. Have a great brunch picking from lovely cases and a beautiful selection of savory, sweet and bready delicacies. Cant wait to order sandwiches!

Staff as always amazing but joy of coming by on day 3 made this visit extra special. Thank you for all the hard work bringing this to us.

Congratulations to this establishment. Cant wait to watch you grow into a neighborhood staple.

I’ve been buying hand‑cut lox for 50+ years — Zabars, Nate ‘n Al, Katz’s — so I know what real, properly sliced lox tastes and feels like. What you sell is an insult: overpriced, tough, badly trimmed garbage shoved into the package to pad weight. Charging $60 a pound for chewy, uneven slices that belong in the trash is outrageous.

Your new location on Federal proves you don’t understand the basics of hand‑cut lox. The slices are too thick, leathery in parts, and full of pieces you’d expect a decent shop to discard. This isn’t artisanal — it’s lazy, cheap, and disrespectful to customers who know quality.

I moved to Florida and gave you a chance. That was a mistake. I’ll never return. Save your money — and avoid this deli if you don’t want to pay top dollar for bottom‑shelf lox.

Great deli with a really welcoming atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, especially the bagels and classic deli sandwiches. You can tell they take pride in the quality of their ingredients. The portions are generous and the staff is friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. It’s a great spot for breakfast or lunch if you’re craving authentic deli food. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area.

I’ve been going to Goldbergs for breakfast and lunch on a regular basis since the second week they opened. The owners, Marc and Nick along with the manager, Gary are very hands-on. No matter how busy they are, they always make me feel welcome. But more important to me they also always make my family and friends feel very welcome when I go there with them.
Starting with their coffee, which tastes better than the rest of the restaurants. The various egg styles, potatoes, and bagels are always fresh and delicious.
Their soups are always hot and flavorful. Never to watery or thick. The lunch sandwiches are always juicy and piled high. The service has always been
A+++. I consider myself to be a very polite, but I admit I’m a very needy customer . And all the servers are always very accommodating . They seem to work very well together as a team. Although Wendy is my regular and favorite server. She always knows and remembers all of my quirky requests. I highly recommend you go for breakfast or lunch or both.

Excellent. Best Deli/Bagel experience south of NY. Felt like is was in The City again. The Coney Island Potato Knish was absolutely delicious. And the Pumpernickel Bagels are sheer perfection. The young lady at the front desk was a sweetheart!!! This is a definite can’t miss experience!!

If you haven’t been to Goldbergs Delicatessen, you’re missing out on one of the best deli experiences in Fort Lauderdale. The food is always fresh, comforting, and packed with flavor, and the service is consistently warm and welcoming.

Pro tip: come on a Sunday and try the cabbage soup — it’s unreal. Perfectly seasoned, hearty, and tastes like it’s been simmering with love all day. And the pastrami? Hands down some of the best I’ve ever had — tender, flavorful, and piled high the way it should be.

This place gets it right every time. Classic deli done right. Easy 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
