Goldberg’s Bagels is a regional chain of bagel vendors. If this store on Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights is an example of a prototypical store, then the entire chain leaves a lot to be desired. My purchase history here has seen a Taylor Ham and Egg sandwich that featured a single slice of Taylor Ham, a bagel with butter that had a most indiscernible amount of butter that with the exception of two bites, didn’t taste like there was any on it, and an iced coffee that was more discolored water than coffee. The prices are also considerably higher than other bagel places I’ve been to. Not a good look here.

Take my advice and take your business elsewhere. I was charged 40 dollars for two pounds of cold cuts. When I was checking out and asked how much each meat cost I was ignored. My mistake was actually paying for this. I am not sure if they price gouge everyone or just new customers but there is no chance the price was accurate.

Just left this place , ordered from their menu a egg white and turkey on toast for 4.99 , I was then charged 9.25 and when I questioned the posted price on their menu board I was told they are all wrong and old. I then spoke to the manager and said I would have never ordered that if I had known 2 egg whites and a slice of turkey was 9.25. He said well they are waiting for new menu boards , really the prices are written in chalk. It’s not about the money. It’s the principle , I’ll never go here again.

Bagels are delicious. The pastries as well. Been coming here for years and they never disappoint whether is the breakfast sandwiches or the hot/cold sandwiches for lunch. Always fresh! The salads are also very good. The Best Heart Attack Sandwich!!!

Gave this place a try in March 2023, as an out of state visitor. I wish I did not. The employees looked miserable and not friendly. Ordered the feta omelette. It had barely any feta at all, was burned, no salt or spices- just tasted plain and burned. The bagels were ok. The sundried tomato bagel tastes just like a plain bagel.

I asked for a TEC on a bagel and this is the amount of taylor ham given for an entire bagel. Very cheap with their products and will not be back. Disappointed is an understatement I ate bagel more than anything
