OMG GLUTEN FREE! I moved to New City 4 years ago and have suffered without a decent gluten free bagel in the area. The new owners here (who seem super nice) are now providing very good, full-size GF bagels. Highly recommend. Even my non-GF husband was impressed with the size, texture, and taste. Thank you!!!

I wish I had listened to the previous reviews. The place wasn’t busy — that should’ve been my first warning sign. We ordered two buttered bagels, a veggie cream cheese bagel, and drinks. The food was awful. The “butter” wasn’t even real, the cream cheese tasted foul, and everything was so bad we had to throw it out after just a bite. Staff was unfriendly on top of it. So we lost out on breakfast and lost out on our money. Very disappointing — never again.

Pre pandemic this was a decent spot. Today, 5/18 I went to get a pastrami eggs and cheese with black peper and hot sauce. You can see the rip off, mostly bread hardly any pastrami. David’s bagels, John’s bagels pile on the meat cheese this is mostly bread not woth the price. Never going here again

Worse place ever!! They never get my order correct, mind you I order the simplest thing ever: a bagel toasted with butter. Employees are in such a rush to get you out that they don’t even properly make the order. One time the lady at the counter didn’t toast it, so I had her fix it, it wasn’t until I got to work that I noticed she put cream cheese instead of butter, I couldn’t do anything about it but throw it out. I always give this spot chance after chance and they continue to disappoint everyday. Will not be returning anymore.

Asked for a SEC breakfast wrap and got my order on white toast instead. I corrected the guy when I was handed the sandwich, and he went into the back, took it apart and threw the SEC hastily into a wrap. It was literally no less than 30 seconds of him being out of sight and when he came back. Clearly he wasn’t happy about the mistake and had no problem showing it. Mediocre service, mediocre food. First and last time in there.

My family and I felt uncomfortable ordering as the employees made us feel like we were burdening them with each thing we ordered. Once we got our food, it was rather tasteless. I will not be returning as there are plenty of better tasting options around that will actually appreciate the business!

Sadly, I have to give 1 for service; The food is great, but the customer service is horrible. When you call no one ever answers the phone and then the voicemail greeting tells you to place your order on the app and several times I do that and go to pick up my order and no one pays attention to the app when the orders come through, so I literally have to stand and wait for my order to be prepped and cooked because they realize no 1 ever started the order or even took notice of a new order for that matter; So that completely negates the purpose of the “pick up your order” app. With multiple people behind the counter, there should be no reason for no 1 answering and the slow service. The service is horrible, which is a disappointment cause it would thrive way more otherwise.
