The cheese coneys were disgusting. The hot dogs were hard to bite and when I pulled one out, it was several different colors. You could tell they were old and had been cooked and laying around for hours. The manager didn’t even seem to care when I called the store to complain. I let him know that I did not want a replacement. I just wanted to make him aware that the food was horrible. I will never eat there again.

Wait staff needs a little work. She was friendly but She was at our table to take order, bring food and drinks, and then our ticket. Never asked if we needed refills or containers. Had to ask at counter. Food here is very expensive for the quantity of food you get.

The past 3 times I’ve been there the portion size has been extremely small. As someone who frequents Gold Star, this location is the worst when it comes to skimping out on a 3 way. The last time I went, I told my girlfriend that if it was disappointing again, that I wouldn’t go back to this location. It most definitely was disappointing. A regular 3 way is normally just right at any other location. I pay $10 here and am always disappointed.

I can’t say we had high expectations coming into this place but it was really nice. Nice new clean interior and bathroom, friendly helpful and attentive wait staff, and the food delivered as expected.

Our server Felicity was sweet. This is nothing to do with her. 4 of us and the bill was $70! Mine being only 5.59 having a bowl of chili. A coney is $3?? The portions went way down and if this is “inflation” then they need new suppliers because I can go to the expensive market across the street and make all the food we ordered for less than $25 dollars. Skyline is not having pricing issues due to inflation. Oh and the chili was not even hot enough to melt my cheese! Oh if you like spicy cheese be prepared to pay a premium for that also! We will not be back

This is a nice location, and almost the closest Gold Star Chili to me since I live North of Dayton and sadly the Huber Heights location closed. I prefer GS over Skyline personally, and it was a cool variety change-up when they added burgers. I wish there was a location further north, since I’m normally only fairly close when I go to the Dayton VA.

Used to be great. They always give me a vanilla shake and not the banana I ordered and are giving smaller portion sizes. I go for the banana shake though and never get it at the drive through.
