This brand new building for Gold Star is a great location soon to be much better with a new Kroger being built next door. Our to go coneys were really good. Staff rare combination of friendly, personable, and professional. I highly recommend this location.

I had not been to this new location, yet. But I’m very impressed! I put an order in on the gold star app, so now I’ve earned a buy one get one offer. That’s cool!
Of course the parking lot was beautiful and the building was brand new.
The staff graded me when I came in to pick up my mobile order.
Everywhere was nice and clean. It was late at night so there were side duties being done, but I still became priority immediately.
Everything was included with my order without having to ask. It was packed nice. It was all still hot when I got home!
Side note: if you’ve never had the burgers at Gold Star, YOU ARE MISSING OUT!! There’s just something about the taste!
Couldn’t ask for a better experience.
Even though this is a new store and they had plenty of staff, things can always go wrong when people aren’t doing what they should be!!

First visit to their new location. Very nicely done. Plenty of staff and received good service. Part of order was incorrect, but staff quickly and gladly made the changes. Will be back soon.

We were greeted and it took them 20 minutes to come serve us. We also got our drinks when we got our food. We ordered a cheeseburger and fries. We watched them dump our fries out and gave us new ones so we don’t know why they dumped the old ones out. I understand busy is not fun but the service wasn’t very good.

10/2/25 Was asked to reach out and add details about my experience, the page I was directed to couldn’t be opened. So I will leave it here. I was really looking forward to going to the new location but was disappointed in the food, it was served warm at best hardly any chilli on the 5 way and chilli dog. Took quite awhile for the food to be served and staff spent more time talking to each other than taking care of the customers. I went with 5 of my friends and three of them were not impressed and said they wouldn’t go back. In all fairness I did go back again and ordered the cheese burger and it was pretty good.

Order online and when I got home there was hardly any chilli on the coneys or the 4 ways we bought. I would have been better off buying a can to take home and make very disappointed

We picked up lunch through the drive thru today and the young man at the window was so polite and nice. And the burger and coneys were excellent! We love the new location too!! Much better!

We waited for 20 minutes and no one came to serve us, so we left and went to the skyline by Walmart and they had our food out to us in 5 minutes! Never will be coming back! Horrible service, horrible atmosphere, horrible experience, even the parking lot had potholes in it that you have to dodge to even get in!

Our boss’s ordered us a few coney crates everything on the side for lunch today about an hour after wr was all on the toilet and being sent home we contacted them and all the manger had to say was sorry ! No make up no small credit no reassurance for the next visit

I’ve always favored Gold Star over Skyline in every product and I expected that nothing had changed over the years as I hadn’t been in a very long time. The atmosphere was rather dated, and the tables are very small. But I went with my dad just like we used to do when I was a kid and it was perfect for that. He got chili spaghetti and a chili cheese coney, and I got the chili mac and cheese. The waiter was really nice and laid back. Normally when I get my food, I ask for plastic cutlery because the silverware is dirty, but this wasn’t the case; everything was clean and free of water spots. I began eating and realized how much I loved Gold Star until I crunched down on something hard. I spit it out and find something on the napkin. I’m not sure what it was. I was able to split it in half, so it wasn’t bone. Maybe a hard gristle? I continued to eat my food despite my findings. My dad was very satisfied with his food. I think I was just unlucky, but I couldn’t possibly give a better rating. If it weren’t for that, I’d give it 5 stars.
