Delicious. We had chicken and waffles Benedict. Chicken was moist and perfectly flavored and breaded. Some of the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had. Waffles were moist and very well flavored. The scotch egg meal was out of this world. We had onion rings with it. I know its odd for breakfast, but these rings were beer battered and fried to perfection. The biscuits and gravy were good. The gravy had a thyme or rosemary undertone. The server was friendly and welcoming. The hostess was the highlight. It is her birthday today! Happy birthday!

If you go here be prepared to be treated like a second class customer. We were told 20 minutes to be seated which ended up being 50 minutes because we were passed over for tables so they could give them to other customers, or ones they knew. Even when they seated us (in the middle of the restaurant) we got passed over 7 different times by 3 different waitresses just to get our drinks. I didn’t mind the wait for the food, but the food was alright and wasn’t good enough to make up for the lack of customer service.

A quaint brunch eatery with a great selection of classic menu items. The scotch eggs are world class, and the bread pudding waffle is something of a specialty for this restaurant. However, seating will certainly take a bit.

Ordered kids chicken tenders and oh my gawd. Absolutely the best ever. The Mac n cheese was so rich and gooey. My hubby loved his bread pudding waffles. We came in 10 minutes to close and we had 8 in our party. Our server was wonderful, patient and never made us feel rushed. We did eat and get out asap.

Coffee was hot. No wait for a table (just right timing). Bit of a wait for food, was really interesting & the people watching was fun.

Excellent service and delicious food. I had the Golden Eggs with half biscuit and gravy. My first time having a Scotch Egg. I’m not a fan but that’s a personal preference. The gravy and biscuit was the best restaurant gravy I have ever had. Rates right up there with my own. I’m hard to please when it comes to gravy. My husband had Annie Oakley breakfast. Two eggs, biscuits and gravy and hashbrowns. We enjoyed it so much we are going back tomorrow before going home.

I have been coming here for years and to be honest, the food and service has been hit or miss for the last year. The last time I ordered, I ordered the chicken strips (which are usually really good), fried potatoes with onions, and cabbage. The chicken was a bit scorched, but it didn’t taste like it, so it was still good. The potatoes were so burnt that there is absolutely no way anyone put them in a to-go container not knowing that they were about to send out completely burnt potatoes. Like, they were way overcooked. Black and really brown and they tasted absolutely nasty. The cabbage was good. The previous time, the food was good, but we were told it would be ready in 35 minutes and it was not until over a hour later that we were able to pick it up. We are coming to grab it on our lunch break and that was more than our break. No apology either.

The food is good. $3 for half of a biscuit and some gravy was a little overkill though. Everything is mostly a la carte and $2-4. The meals were around $10-12. The 3 stars is quality of service mostly then the quality of food; though I didn’t see how everyone says the place is so amazing. I didn’t see the exceptional bit to the food. It was good but a lot of restaurants have good food. Service was good, drinks refilled in a timely manner, waitress was super nice and sweet.

Quick service even when making an online to-go order. The hash casserole is rich and delicious. Soft flaky biscuits and gravy will cure any illness and the scotch eggs are a savory and unexpected delight to add to any dish. Highly recommend
