I can’t believe I hadn’t come here sooner. Our experience at Gold was a 10/10. The atmosphere is perfect—intimate yet fun. The $12 pasta Tuesday special is awesome and all of the dishes were so creative and absolutely delicious! The Tajin pork belly was total perfection. The prices are also great, considering the quality and sizes of the dishes. Our server was so lovely and the service was exceptional. I wish I’d gotten her name because she was perfect!! This is no doubt my favorite restaurant in the ONE—I’m already looking forward to my next time dining here.

What a find! I truly enjoyed sharing a meal with friends here. It’s a small, intimate experience with the staff being very attentive and timing everything very well. We ordered a lot to share and try between six of us. I really enjoyed every dish. I think the oysters with the mignonette, the fries with aioli, pork belly and my salmon. I mean everyone had finished their meals. I didn’t leave room for dessert, but I can’t wait to come back to try it. Their prices were reasonable for the high quality food and service you receive as well.

Absolutely fabulous pasta! Their Tuesday Pasta Night is an incredible find — for only $12, the quality and portion size are unbeatable. The pasta was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with real care, making it one of the best values around. The wine pairing felt a little dismissive and could have been more engaging, but at this price point the overall experience was still excellent.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening. Service was warm and attentive, which made the night even more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back not only for another Tuesday pasta night but also to explore more of the menu. If the rest of the dishes are anything like the pasta, I’m sure they’ll be just as delicious. Highly recommend this spot — especially on Tuesdays!

Cool vibe and lighting in a small intimate atmosphere. Vegetarian Italian mostly menu. Food was solid not wow and not bad and portion size was satisfying.

Phenomenal dinner, phenomenal service! Everything we ate, was absolutely stellar. We started with the whipped Chèvre appetizer, as well as the blue fish taco. For our main course we each had the scallops and shrimp with polenta. We ate at the bar with Christine as our server, and she was wonderful, easily accommodating my food allergy, and making us feel both welcome and happy.
We will be back !

Came here for a friends dinner outing. Was looking for a new restaurant to try and Gold didn’t disappoint. Started off with the $1 oyster special. Continued the seafood theme with the shrimp and mussels frites. Wife got the brisket which I had a bite. All the food tasted amazing. Here’s the thing, living in chittenden county most of my life, Gold was new and refreshing in the Burlington food scene.

First time dining at this gem in the Old North End and loved it! I’ve been wanting to try it out for quite a bit after I discovered that they offer $12 pastas on Tuesdays. I love when restaurants offer some fun weekday specials. That way I can order way more food and justify it because I saved on the entrees (lol).
Anyway, we got $1 oysters (not sure when that special is on but we got lucky), crispy eggplant, arancini, corn ravioli, and shrimp scampi. Everything was fabulous and I appreciated that the pastas on special were hearty with lots of fresh ingredients and not basic due to the lower price point.
The real show stoppers were our fried appetizers. Both the eggplant and arancini were breaded and fried to perfection! So delicious and satisfying.
The inside was cute and cozy with a great cocktail menu to top it off. Can’t wait to go back for more!

I’m so glad I decided to try this restaurant. The food and drinks were absolutely superb and very inventice, the staff was attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy. Plus, the prices were so much lower than other Burlington restaurants of comparable quality. We got an appetizer, two entrees, two alcoholic drinks, and a dessert for 100 dollars, with everything having big portions! Just outstanding. I’ll definitely be going back.

Gold restaurant is easily one of the most refreshing, affordable and intentional dining experiences in Vermont. You can feel the warmth and ‘smart’ design the moment you walk in. The small plates and entrees are interesting and layered with flavor—you can tell there is a deep respect for the ingredients. Love their social and ecological consciousness; it’s rare to find a place that balances high-end culinary skill with a grounded mission. The wine list is expertly curated, featuring selections that perfectly complement the menu. If you’re looking for a sophisticated yet soulful meal, this is it. and fabulous cokatils!

First time visiting this wonderful little restaurant.
Food was incredible, staff was friendly and attentive.
Great menu. Accommodated multiple food allergies gracefully. Small plate portions were larger than expected. Also, they are hidden on menu, but the fries were so good!
