I don’t normally leave reviews but had to this time. We had a fabulous experience both with food and customer service while in the area visiting Deadwood on vacation, staying in Hill City! This was an impromptu stop for us. We were a group of 15 (4 under the age of 2) and all very hungry. Although there weren’t any high chairs, the atmosphere was very comfortable and accommodating and the owner was very understanding with the littles running around (what a relief). There were various games on a bookshelf and paper on the table with crayons to keep the kiddos occupied (which worked great!). We were able to walk along the sidewalk outside while waiting for our food which kept antsy hungry kids occupied. The food was delicious! The home made marinara is amazing as well as the garlic bread (it definitely has garlic!!). The owner had great customer service, took our orders right away and repeatedly made sure we had drinks. You can tell he’s very down to earth and he great small talk. Wish we had a place like this near home!! Keep up the great work!!!

There is good reason for all the positive reviews… Some of the best pizza I have ever had in my life! The owner is such a chill, friendly, and nice person. We asked for some creative suggestions, and he made us a pizza with garlic-butter as the sauce – so good! Crust had that perfect balance of crispy & chewy, and the toppings were sliced by hand for just the right blending of flavors. The space is small but clean & friendly, with board games available & some fun mural art honoring the local underground physics research lab. A true gem of the Black Hills. I hope we can return again soon!

Ate there opening day! Their Alfredo sauce is excellent and the veggies are all fresh and look hand chopped (larger chunks, which I love).
Excellent food. The crust is definitely much better cooked to crispy. One pizza was cooked more than the other and it was definitely better for it. I chalk that up to a day 1 bump that will probably be ironed out pretty quick.
We ordered at their store and they delivered it to us next door at Greenfield’s Pub so we could sit and enjoy a pint with it!!! They said they deliver to anywhere on main Street!!!!

The owners are very kind and personable and you can tell they genuinely care about their restaurant and the service they provide. It seems like the quality control has smoothed out and they’ve gotten into the rhythm of things.
The food is also excellent.
My recommendation has not changed, if anything I recommend even more highly than before!

Great atmosphere and great pizza! It is his own special recipe for crust and sauce. It would be a fun place to take the kids, as he has games to play and crayons for coloring. The garlic bread was excellent also. Highly recommended.

The pizza is great! The cuts of meat and pineapple were huge and you could really taste the flavors. My parents and I stopped here at the recommendation of the Homestake Opera House and I am glad we did. The owners are very kind and interesting people. They also allowed us to do half of the pizza with red sauce and half with white sauce which was awesome and other pizza places rarely let you do.

The customer service was amazing. The power was out and the owner went in the back and cooked us our pizza in the dark! And it was amazingly delicious. It’s definitely a fun place for families. It’s kid friendly with crayons and games.
We will definitely be coming back here next time we are in Lead!

Absolutely some of the best pizza I have ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious. The crust was fantastic. Staff were funny, honest and just down to earth. Highly recommend this place to anyone in the sturgis area, you will not be let down!

***Update on my review** Owner came to our place and checked the food, was very nice, made it right. That makes the customer service and we are thankful.
We just spent 49.00 plus tip for a pizza and cheesy bread that are both burned. We are very familiar with brick fire oven pizzas. We are here from Oregon staying, and were looking forward to delivery and staying hunkered in our room. We are so very disappointed. I have a picture I’m trying to post.
