This place is good food. But holy god, their workflow is terrible. Fix the seating and let waitresses take care of the tabs. There is just chaos in the back and the register is slammed with people trying to pick up, people trying to get a table, people trying to pay, and everything else. To go orders should have a dedicated person handling it. Like this isn’t hard, just seems like a dated system. They said they are hiring, but I bet they aren’t paying well. It’s a shame

Finding this place was a Gold Mine! I got the Farmer’s Bowl, and added sausage gravy. The strawberry jam with toast on the side was delicious, as was the bowl itself! Great amount of food for the price, too! Would absolutely recommend. Service was friendly and didn’t wait too long, either.

Just ate at this restaurant this morning with our friends from out of state. We were looking for a good country breakfast.
Biscuits were not baked throughly very doughy! Cooks in the back had no hair nets, food was cold and our friend had biscuits & gravy ..found a hair in it!!
Told waitress about it she said..”my hair is
longer that couldn’t be mine”!!!
Can you believe that!! $40.00 for a breakfast we couldn’t eat after that!
So my advise is go somewhere else!!!

Don’t underestimate this small local restaurant just because it is attached to a gas station! The FARMER’S BREAKFAST BOWL IS DA BOMB ! Get there EARLY-everyone loves this place-the food is always hot and delicious, service is always remarkable, portion sizes are wonderful, establishment is always clean and orderly. It may be a bit smaller than some standard restaurants, but it is so worth it! We love the down-to-earth staff and the short wait is always a pleasure because you get to interact with the community.

Real old-time diner experience. Food was delicious cooked in a southern way. One of those niche spots only the locals know about

I’ll soon be new to the area, so I took the long way to the new apartment and found this spot next to a convenience store. Definitely a local spot where they knew their customers. Solid, basic menu with some specials tossed in. My choice of the day was the farmers bowl/scramble with sausage as the protein. Never an empty coffee cup until I had to tap the brakes. Will certainly be on the list of places when I’m local to the area.

The food was great!! I am not a real fan of grits. I usually eat a few spoonfuls and I’m done but these were amazing! The first time I’ve ever finished a whole bowl. Let’s talk about the pancake. Huge! The healthy size ball of butter in the middle was a perfect combination with the plate size pancake. The coffee was a little on the bitter side but otherwise, perfection.

The food was average. Toast was old falling apart. We had good service. The place is nice and clean. Nothing special, but it’s not bad.

Nice family owned business. Food was pretty good. However the menu had been changed since first visit. You probably only know this if you are a regular.
