Food was amazing! Took a little long to come out, around 20-30 minutes for two orders, but so worth it! Food was super flavorful, the workers were extremely nice and the place was beautifully decorated! I got the mild Butter Chicken and the Garlic Naan with a Mango Lassi, all these items were very flavorful and very delicious. Would recommend!!!

We absolutely loved our dining experience here! Food was delicious, beautifully presented and full of flavor. The breakfast combo is a must try. Dosa was perfectly crispy, served with delicious sambar and very tasty crunchy vada & chutney’s including authentic very tasty dessert Kesari. For Non Veg lovers, lamb curry is highly recommended. The service was excellent with attentive and friendly staff throughout. The ambience & atmosphere made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’d love to return to and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal and wonderful service!

So I know I’m gonna get dragged for this and I’m prepared. I ordered pick up from Gol Bowl which is around the corner from me in Maplewood I was unaware that there was another one in Delmar so as I go to pick my food up, they don’t have my order. I see it’s in Delmar. I called them and ask them could they cancel it because I don’t have a car to come and get it. They tell me I have a call uber so I call uber. They tell me that the only person that can cancel. The order is the store they proceed to tell me that they don’t know how to cancel the order so call him back between the store and uber no one is willing to meet me in the middle so as I’m going to get my food, they hit complete on my order so not only did I get cold food, but I have to pay an additional $15 for uber when all this could’ve been settled over the phone. It’s hard time for people out here. I won’t lie this totally ruin my night. I was just trying to eat some butter chicken and watch basketball but I ended up spending almost $40.

We had the butter chicken main and the paneer makhni main. Both were delicious! As well as the samosa chaat and garlic naan. Thank you Gol Bowl! Very cute interior vibes too. I loved the multi-color lights on the ceiling panels.

I cannot emphasize enough how much I love this place! I feel like it’s the only spot on the loop where you can get a hearty meal for under $20. During finals week I quickly became a Gol Bowl regular haha. Service is also pretty quick with both in person and online orders. The staff is wonderful and will call you if there are any problems/questions with your online order. My go-to is plain naan and the rice and paneer bowel

I needed something spicy. Ok Gol Bowl on Delmar, let’s see what you got. There’s also one in Maplewood if you’re in that area too. I went full takeout mode and ordered like I was feeding a small country. The paneer is just superior. That’s all I can say. That perfect chewy-silky taste. Every dish brought all the flavor and a kick of heat. Indian food always gets the raves at my house. Such a treat. Easy and quick pickup and service from a cute little spot on Delmar.

The guy at the counter was very honest—he mentioned that the butter chicken would be slightly on the sweeter side and also gave me the option of spicy items. I really appreciate when staff clearly explain the taste and flavor, because most restaurants try to hide the truth. It’s a small, cozy place with good music, even though I don’t understand the language. The environment was welcoming, and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!
