Gokan has “reopened” at its original address however it’s just a ghost kitchen in Seoul Mates. The old Gokan is gone RIP forever.
Before the flood that closed Gokan, it was my go-to sushi restaurant. I get the same thing every time, 2 spicy salmon rolls with spicy mayo on top. Tonight I placed an order to go from the ghost kitchen. While the staff was friendly and food was prepared quickly, the food wasn’t the same. The salmon texture and color were questionable. Overall it was okay but not something I’d order again. All good things eventually come to an end.

Sushi was flavorful. My Son took Me here to eat dinner. I loved their noodle soup. Service was great. A darn fly happen to land in My Son’s sushi and it ruined his appetite. They were nice to not charge us and return it.

Enjoyed dining here at Gokan. A good japanese restaurant to eat with family or friends. I brought my visiting friends for dinner. We all had a wonderful time. Staffs are friendly. You can ask for food suggestions or recommendation. Nice ambiance, clean and airy because it has glass sliding doors on all sides of the restaurant to open it to sidewalks. Food has good presentation, flavorful and delicious. Love pairing my food with hot sake. Must try the pork belly skewers. Its delicious! Prices are affordably reasonable. Coming back to this place for sure.

Really enjoyed dinner here during first evening in Seattle! Sushi and tempura were extremely tasty, as was the seaweed salad and iced green tea. Service was calm and pleasant. One of the most aesthetically pleasing restaurants I have ever been to ever!!

Super delicious sushi. The dine in experience was a little strange when we were brought a champagne bottle but no one opened it for us. Otherwise I had a great meal and good saké. I had the Hot Lava roll. Delish. My friends had the Salmon Lover Roll, Cali Roll sad Chicken Teriyaki. They loved theirs as well. We finished it off with delish mochi ice cream (Green Tea, Mango and Strawberry).

Beautiful setting, great for a date. GET THE MONKEY BRAINS! Sushi was unique and wasn’t over-done with toppings or sauces, it was just the right amount. I got the Poké Mon role which was refreshing. Dessert was delicious, I had the banana tempura and redbean ice cream along with mochi. Enjoy all the puppies that walk by! Prices were Seattle (high).

The dishes were quite good, and I really enjoyed the happy hour selection. Was easily able to fill up and get a few drinks in all from the happy hour menu. The staff was also very nice and polite. No complaints 🙂

This place was good for dine-in and the first few times I ordered on UberEats last year. So I’m not sure what happened because a month ago, I got partly uncooked salmon kama. Then today, for my three orders of baked oysters, I got TWO shells with actual meat inside. They thought it was okay to send out baked (or pureed) sauce. I’ve ordered this dish multiple times prior, so either they need to state a change in the description or not serve it. This is beyond unprofessional as a restaurant to dupe customers, and I suspect it’s probably a change of owners. However, it seems like they have no problem serving food for people dining in.

Really good Japanese food. Takoyaki were not the best in town, but still delicious. Yellowtail collar was meaty grilled and juicy. The lava and dragon rolls were exceptionally good. Cool hangout with good service.
