This is a quick serve pizza location inside a small Loves truckstop on the North end of Buena Vista. Passable food at elevated prices. on the plus side the people staffing the site were wonderfully nice and helpful.

Toppings are put under the cheese so they don’t get cooked. Very strange to get a bite of raw mushroom (previously frozen?) and uncooked pepperoni. We also got a half/half with toppings and there was no telling which slices were which toppings. I can’t remember the last time my family didn’t finish a pizza, but this one ended up in the garbage.
When I arrived to pick up my pizza, the staff member was in the back, talking on her personal cell phone. She looked through the door and saw me standing there but continued her conversation and ignored me for another 3 minutes even though there were multiple people in line behind me.
Pizza wasn’t good and service was worse.

Stopped here for pizza and was not disappointed.
Got the classic, and while I am not usually a fan of onions on pizza (they’re usually sliced too large and therefore a bit slimy) they were cut pretty small and definitely were not slimy, the entire pizza was great.
The crust is thick, slightly crunchy with what seems to be a garlic butter on it, but it is not too thick where it is hard to eat it.
The ingredients seem to be decent quality – thinking mostly of the meats and cheese here – and generously distributed over the entire pizza. No weird little lumps of one topping, or slices that were missing any of the toppings.
We also got a large order of cheese sticks which turned out to pretty much be a pizza crust loaded with cheese and the same butter with a hint of garlic.
Over all the food was great and we would definitely stop here the next time we head through Buena Vista.

Love godfathers pizza and stop by to pick up a pie whenever we are passing thru town. The service could use a lot of work though. My wife waited at the counter for 10 minutes before the kid working at Chester’s chicken stepped over to help us out, the guy working Godfathers was clueless. We were told it would be 20 to 25 minutes, no issue there. Then after 30 minutes we walk up to the counter to check on our order and the dude runs to the back and sends the manager out to tell us he forgot about our order. Dude, lay off the pot and be an adult and don’t hide in the back and make your manager cover for your screw up. She was very nice and sent us away with bread sticks and free pizza for next time.

Since my college days, Godfathers has been one of my favorite pizza joints. I couldn’t find them for a while. This one is at a Loves fuel stop but tastes great just the same. There are always personal sized pies ready but a larger one will take a while. Order by phone for that. Also Chester’s Chicken is here. This is good fast food for a fuel stop. Friendly help, as you would expect for a small, Colorado town. I shall return

My wife and I try to stop here every time we are in Buena Vista. You can get food, beverages, and order pizza 24 hours a day. we are usually there in the evening or late at night. The staff is pleasant and friendly. The pizza is really delicious too.

I love Godfather’s Pizza. We used to have it in Colorado Springs but now it’s up in Buena Vista Colorado. I was so happy to discover it so when we go to the mountains we make this one of our dinners. The staff is extremely nice.
