My sisters and I had not been to the Detroit Lakes Godfathers for 40 years, since high school and growing up in DL. The manager went over and above to make sure we were happy with our order and followed up multiple times to make sure we were satisfied. In this day and age where having customer service is a bonus what an unexpected and exceptional surprise to get this level of service at a pizza shop. She is a gem!

I would rather eat at Godfathers than Zorbaz or Hotel Shoreham. Their pizza has been consistently good for years. The other guys can’t say that. I know people from Moorhead who drive to Godfathers for the taco pizza. The desert pizza is great, too.

We went there for the first time. They had a birthday pizza combo, and it was a good deal! We had sausage pizza, chicken alfredo pizza, and dessert cinnamon pizza. The service and the atmosphere were excellent. Highly recommend!

Lunch buffet was from 11 to 2. We ate here during a week’s stay to visit family. It was very good pizza. Loved the extra sauce on the buffet. The salad bar was very nice and satisfying. Kids loved the desert pizza on the buffet. Price was very responsible. Kids loved eating upstairs. A+++

Haven’t been here in years…finally went in the other night and was blown away by the food. Soooooo good. I swear it was even better than I remembered! Restaurant was clean and I loved how laidback and homey the place was. Godfather’s never disappoints. I highly recommend trying the chicken alfredo pizza….so awesome ❤

I did the online ordering and had carry out. It was so quick and easy. The whole experience was great and the food was amazing. I ordered cheesy bread sticks, a taco pizza, and a build your own pizza, and the birthday cake dessert pizza. Money well spent my family and I were completely satisfied. Thank you.
