Make it 10 stars. There’s not a bad thing on the menu and if there was, I’m convinced they’d make it taste amazing. Lol. I highly recommend the Italian supreme sandwich. But I can’t imagine any are bad. The employees are dedicated to their craft and that’s evident in the food set in front of you. Absolutely great environment. This

Today, we enjoyed our lunch at Godfather’s Pizza in Red Wing, Minnesota. We ordered a medium taco and a medium sausage pizza; they were delicious! Pizzas were brought to our table along with a take-home box for our leftovers. Staff were also friendly and helpful.

The best buffet I’ve ever had in my life. Pro tips: The taco pizza is amazing, but ask for sour cream and add it on top for level 10. Add the thin crispy pickle slices from the salad bar to your bacon cheeseburger pizza. Thank me later.

Nice historic Godfathers Pizza here in the great town of Red Wing, MN. The restaurant has a buffet and salad bar area. The fountain drinks here are surprisingly affordable when compared to other restaurants at 1.89. The fountain drinks here are very good for the price. I got a Coke (and the refill of it), some slices of Pepperoni Pizza, and a piece of Garlic Bread. The fountains here actually do have the ingredients of the drinks which is something I’d never seen before. The staff were really friendly & professional. This is the nearest Godfather’s to me and it’s still quite a drive but I go at least twice a year as it’s my favorite pizza chain. My orders have been consistently ready on time, the pizza has been hot, fresh, and delicious each time I’ve ordered from them. Their staff have always been friendly and courteous. I’ve never eaten there always ordered to go. Their app makes ordering convenient and I appreciate the reward options as well. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Unfortunately my family and I will not be returning to this Godfathers. We stopped for the buffet, had a hungry crew of 6. Walked in and the place seemed vacant which is odd when there was several other vehicles in the parking lot. A very stinky, unkempt man, popped out from behind the counter after a few minutes. Asked us how many, we had 6 and said buffet please. In a very rude tone, told us they closed the buffet early, so we should order pizza instead.
My husband and I looked at each other and knew exactly what the other was thinking. Nope, we’re out. The guy at the counter stunk like recently smoked Marijuana. I get that its pretty much legal in MN now but seriously it’s a disgusting smell. We shouldn’t have to smell it when we go out to eat at a restaurant period.

Having not had Godfathers Pizza since my youth in St Cloud I was very much looking forward and excited for some pizza nostalgia. This location crushed, the staff was very helpful and it only took 15 mins from ordering in store and getting our pizza. The pizza itself was exactly what I remember, the cheese was cooked perfect, the sauce was the same, and overall it was exactly what I was hoping for. Godfathers Pizza made my weekend.

We dined at Godfather’s Pizza in The Pottery Place Historic Center in Red Wing, MN for the first time in years. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they serve 12 inch GF pizzas! My son ate his way through the daily pizza lunch buffet! The restaurant was busy with locals (families, area workers on their lunch breaks and passerbys). The employees were kind, efficient and ambitious. The historic charm added to the enjoyment (ie. Informational signage, photographs of the past, brick interior, etc.). Lastly, the nostalgic pinball machine, video games and candy dispensers brought me back to my youth (1980-1990s). We are looking forward to coming back to this unique Godfather’s Pizza location soon!

This place is filthy! Look at all of the black mold on the soda machine. Mounds of dust everywhere. The food was horrible too. It doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in some time. I have worked in many restaurants and this place would be a health department issue for sure.
